"Prince: Anthology" will be published by The Hal Leonard Corporation, dated for release on August 29, 2007 in paperback only so far as I can tell or have seen thus far (don't people know, we love our hard-bound/hard-cover books more?) and by the sound will encompass 256 pages of Purple-licious funk. It should be an interesting read since it's coming from the Man himself. Although not slated for release until August 29, 2007 - you can pre-order this book on Amazon.com now to ensure you get the first of the bunch.  I, personally, cannot wait.

It's a sheet music book by the look of the cover. Besides (if I'm not mistaken) Hal Leonard is pretty strictly a publisher of sheet music. I don't think they publish novels, etc...

i looked on hal and leonards website and there is no mention of this anthology booklet. and the link 4 amazon does not work.
the truth will b told and 4 those that fear that xposure of it ..oh well! u won't ever silence me. the innocent have voices that need 2 b heard and u will hear them | |

[misleading title edited by Anxiety]  I really thought it was a real book by the man, at least a collection of writings on those particular songs, ie) why he wrote them, etc. I don't buy sheet music and haven't since you could walk into a "Harmony House" and look at it in person.
