flip flops are platforms, lol. priceless in itself when u see them on prince. second, his white socks are not regulars but they're like those geisha toe-glove-socks. it's still pretty weird, i'll admit that but it's not any worse than seeing a 46 yr old man step off a plane wearin a pair of toxic blue boots and a matching latex suit with braided hair and big ol' hoop earrings  I just got off the phone with my sister and I described them just that way! 
However, socks and any type of "sandal" escape me as an option anyway, but if he was going to go with that look, the all-black ensemble says LOOK AT MY FEET!!! 
I'm sure it was for comfort on the plane ride, but  ....

His head looks twice too big... MJ was a brilliant singer/dancer...best of all time, however, that's all he was. Let's not compare him to Prince, best musician of all time, but rather, compare him to someone like Sammy Davis Jr (who I don't hear anyone calling a musical genius). | |

On a good note - he probably wouldn't be wearing a shirt that tight if he still had that tummy, so maybe he's gotten rid of it. His upper looks pretty "fit" here | |
