Hey Purp. biggrin

It's actually P talking about how some women are not future baby mama material. He also speaks of the value of the woman he's singing to. You know P: "Where you wanna go? London, Africa", etc.? lol

It sounds along the lines of Call My Name but I like it much better than that.

I had a feeling I wouldn't like it from the title. Now the "Call My Name" comparison nearly seals the deal. lol

They just debuted it hear in the Atl on 102.5 Very nice. Much better than Call My Name. It's been a long time since Prince put out a slow jam that I thought off the rip was an instant classic. Old school linn drum machine being used. Falsetto voice being used for the first two verses. A break down in the middle where he's sweet talking a lady. The last two hook's are add libbed with his baritone voice. My wife was with me in the car. She's a casual Prince fan and she thought it was the bomb. I can definately see this song being requested a lot.

It is what it is

Go to the Atlanta radio station's web site. They're going to play "Future Baby Mama" again in just a few moments. It's 102.5 in Atlanta.
