ALMA Awards Afterparty

3121 Spy Report: Afterparty @ The Roosevelt

After the amazing Alma Show per4mance, Prince & The NPG headed down 2 The Roosevelt 4 a kickin' afterparty. And our on the spot reporter was there at the xclusive event taking place in The Roosevelt lobby (Yes, the lobby!). Grupo Fantasma kicked it off with a hot salsa set featuring some smokin' guest licks from Sheila E., Maceo Parker, Prince, Renato Neto, Shelby J., and Mr. Hayes. We spotted Terrence Howard, Tavis Smiley, Cornel West, Chelsea Rodgers, Will.I.Am, and Anthony Anderson gettin' their groove on. Even the Twinz got in on it leading the crowd in some hip-shakin' salsa dancing. Then the full NPG took over the stage and broke into a pounding "A Love Bizarre." Shelby J. got her chance 2 blow on "Sweet Thing" and "Baby Love." And "3121" brought the house down, giving the crowd a taste of what we hear is going to be a hot summer in Hollywood.

here's another pic... its not of the aftershow but its Prince leaving the stage TO GO TO the aftershow (I'm assuming).

i kno i'm posting on my own topic so soon but i have 2 admit that the 3121.com site is getting better @ updating with new info. there's even a link to watch the Verizon commercial.

Yeah, she looks fine for her age, but Prince likes his wommen to be young. He will probably hook up with another twentysomething.

He is standing in profile with his jacket open. A white jacket (which is going to photograph larger because of all the light it reflects). But look at how narrow his arm is. Look how thin his legs are.

Oh -- and most people (no matter how thin they are) start to start loosening up around the jaw at Prince's age. People with tight necks and jowls at 50+ are either very lucky or they've had work done. (Nora Ephron -- writer of Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail -- actually wrote a book about it. It's called "I Feel Bad About My Neck.")

You're thinking of Vanity - Shiela isn't / wasn't a junkie. Prince and Shiela use to date back durning the Prince / Dirty Mind days. It would be one of those things where you would say " Ohhhhh - finally together."

I know this his "hearsay" gossip type stuff, but a friend of mine said that Levi Seacer told him in '88 that Sheila E really wanted Prince to propose to her and sort of hung around waiting for it, but it never happened.

I remember duing the MPLS Lovesexy show during The Cross, Prince looked at her and mouthed "I love you", but he was probably caught up in the moment and "love" means many different things.

Well the pics are awesome but is it me or Prince and Sheila are looking very cozy and loving ?? Love is in the air !! Is Prince finally going to realize the Sheila is the one ! even if they don't ever get marry, they don't have too but i can see the happiness in both faces the complement each other.. or is it for publicity???

I may be wrong, but I don't think they knew each other that soon.

I've always hoped they would hook up, but they seem to be settling into more of a brother/sister relationship. Not the "Sister" relationship either. biggrin
