You know, I saw what I think will be the set list from the Purple Ticket winner's post (May 6th show) and based on that I don't think it is worth the money. 5 or 6 songs by Tamar and 8 or 9 from Prince. Know doubt it would be a great show, but for now I think I will wait for the gig to come to me in Tampa (assuming there will be a tour).

Have fun to anyone who goes.

Here is the list:

3121
Lolita
Satisfied
Black Sweat
Kiss
Joy in Repetition
Fury
Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough
What Have You Done For Me Lately
Partyman
It’s Alright (intro)
Play That Funky Music
Love Rollercoaster
It’s Alright
I Want To Take You Higher (with guest Larry Graham)
Purple Rain
Let’s Go Crazy

Damn, might be worth it to see him do "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" - Great song!

A person who went to the party was told by a paisley staffer that the set for Vegas will basically be the same. neutral

For $312!!!!! rolleyes

The show is half fucking Tamar!

That's the main reason I didn't jump through hoops to see if I could get to the show. There was too much of a chance that the show would be 1/2 Tamar and $312.01 is too much for that.

I had to be honest with myself. It's is Prince and there's nothing I love more (outside of family) more than seeing Prince live, but with such a hefty price tag I'd have expectations and I've learned that's not such a good thing to have when it comes to Prince.
I'm firmly planted in denial

I would dearly love to and despite the fact that I think the price is...extravagant...I still think it would be worth it. However, there's no possible way that I could afford it. Nooooo way. But if I had the money I'd be there in a second.

HE'S COMING AGAIN

Can't wait! And the desert Southwest is still calling you. Hopefully someday soon you'll be able to explore it again.

cool I would luv to go if i had the money. It is Memorial Day Weekend & all. He is like charging $156.00 & over per ticket. You pay half & whoever goes with ya pay half. That's not too bad for 1 night. If you are a gambler you will drop more than that. Who knows maybe you can win your money back & more. What's with the number 3121 anyway? I guess this is how much tickets will be if he does actually tour the states.

I won't but if I could I would. Besides, Prince is coming to NYC in June for Good Morning America (I hope he doesn't cancel pray) and all I need to pay is $2 with my MetroCard for the Subway.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Ermm, no, he's charging $312 per ticket, not for 2 tickets!? By all means split the cost with someone - but one of you won't be allowed in!

i wish i could afford this. maybe i'll ride out in the car anyway. but i don't have a dying urge to see Prince live anyway, so it's probably a good thing i can't afford to fork over the $312/$624.
