2nd, I'll be shot for sayin this, but the opening for 'The Rainbow Children' is sooo funky/jazzy man, you have to love that also. If you have any kick in you stereo, or car stereo, you can wake the block with TRC. Masterpiece!

Blue Cashmere
"Don't Play me"

no, i think you're right... it's way cool. this is an awesome album to play, actually, at the sort of cocktail party you might have on an open balcony, everyone wandering about in their summer clothes.

...and since my most favorite is the ending to an album (Adore), nothing can top that first song!
Okay, how about endings? I'm right there with you on "Adore", nothing tops that...but the other ending I really thought was great was "Jack U Off" at the end of "Controversy".

Why even ask this question? Lets Go Crazy will always be the prototype opening for Prince

Can't you just feel the pain of his not wanting the relationship to end? He just can't let go... you actually wonder if the song will end... one more chorus... one more ad lib... and then another... and then... in exhaustion, it fades with him almost crying "no... no... no..." "woe... woe... woe..."

Your post surprised me. After so many years I thought I was the only one here who really loves this song. Anyone know if Prince has played this song live in the last 10 years? What a treat it'd be.
