Let me clear up a few things.....

1.) I DO understand that it's Prince's right to do what he wants with this material. YES I DO get that and I agree 100%.

2.) I wasn't so much surprised by this as I was ANNOYED by it because I totally disagree with Prince's stance on this. No I don't feel like Prince personally did anything to me I just really disagree with his position on the whole subject.

3.) *****I really want to point this one out.....Just cuz you are a member of this forum doesn't mean you know everything that goes on here or over at Housequake or wherever. I try to keep up but no I am not aware of all the cease and desist orders....yes I had a general idea but I don't keep up with all this stuff so please EXCUUUUUSE me!

4.) I had seen posts before referring to SOME Prince fans as kinda nuts and I'm starting to see why. I do apologize for uploading this stuff...in fact I totally regret it. But a lot of you guys like to post crap like "Love 4 One Another" and all this other b.s. but how many of you really represent that.....

Example: Oh look at this guy....he's so ignorant that he actually decided to hook up fellow fans with this rare footage that many have probably never seen before. Doesn't he know the entire history of the org and of housequake and of Prince's grandmother....geez, he deserves to be pounced on! Let's get this motherfucker and show him what we are all about! Take that (punch) for trying to be nice. Now maybe in the future you will think twice!

And NO I'm not trying to sound like a victim or get sympathy. Fuck that! Just trying to point out all the fucking hypocrisy and negativity a lot of you guys are all about (not all of you).

there are folks here who are funnier then anything on tv. anxiety, althom, bkw, cheek and many other leave me in stitches..but they do it with wit and humor....and not at the expense of other participants of *this* website.

The Org has recieved a pretty bad rap these past few years, and many are quick enough to point blame everywhere else but upon their own doorstep. With heated discussions like this one, it's not hard to see why The Org has that reputation. As mods, WE can only do so much - it's actually YOU GUYS that make up the public face of 'The Org', it's YOU GUYS that make it what it is. Some of you would do well to stop and ponder upon that for awhile instead of feeding into it.

Some may not agree with what I've expressed here - and that's totally fine with me - that's the way of the world. But if it bothers any of you to the extent of some of the vitriol i've seen expressed on this thread to fellow Orgers, then hey - the exit's where you came in...

Well before this thread gets the dreaded I'll add my two cents...Yes the Prince camp is a bit anal! However it's been that way for as long as I can remember and I've been around it for quite a long time! We all knew it was just a matter of time before the "Hit Squad" took action. If you didn't know that, you just weren't paying attention...plain and simple!!

I have had many a beefs with what goes on within this board, however, this time I've got no beef!! The rules are simply stated for their protection as well as our own. I'm not mad at the poster for trying to share a little Princely joy either but when I saw the post I knew everyone else could too!! What's done is what was supposed to be done because it would have been done sooner or later, anyway!!
