Right, this thread is now too long, let's open part III...
Okay, seriously, I hope now the single that wasn't going to be a single has been released, we are going to get reports of how it does on the various charts America in it's wisdom had - the r'n'b chart, the adult r'n'b chart, the contemporary r'n'b adult chart, the urban adult contemporary chart, the urban adult r'n'b contemporary download and radio airplay chart, etc etc. Will it bomb or will it do very mildly? Last I heard it was number 1 on VH1 or something. | |

The buzz over Te Amo Corazon sure has died down. I was expecting new info about the album every day. We dont know that much more about the 3121 project than last month. We know one song and that the cd will be released this year. | |

I just picked up the CD - mine has a B-side!  It's called "El rayo de luna nivela". I wonder what that means in English...

Ya know what? I just watched the AV again and something struck me as being very familiar. Then it occured to me that after my long hair was cut I'd subconsciously let my hand try to feel where it once was. Like those who have lost limbs there's a phantom limb that still exists. I missed my hair and sometimes forgot that it wasn't there.
Anyway, on the last clip of this vid Prince is stroking the back of his head and hair as if he is missing something or someone too. I bet if it's a person that they've been missing him also. Just my

I heard it.
My two cents.... It's okay. It won't be a hit, if that's what he's after. It has a cool vibe and I DO like this style of music (although most of Sade's last album puts it to shame). Niether here nore there to be honest... Wouldn't it have been cool if he came back with something dark and funky like Face Down? With Rhonda on bass... I hope there's something like that on the album. |

Wake me up when its over.  Well it was all a bit of a dull affair really without anything that made me listen attentively. Just another dull Prince standard as is to some extent becoming the norm lately. Not so much a hot Latino night but more a cold, damp morning in Rotherham. | |

I always wanna like the newest Prince song, but this one is boring, boring, boring.
It sounds like it has potential at first, but it never really goes anywhere or turns into anything interesting. It's just there. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

The more I hear it the more I love it. It helped me yesterday night when I went to bed (I couldn't sleep), while singing it in my head. I really love it and it's very new, fresh, simple, deep, strong.
Dear Prince, thanks again. I truly wait for your new things to be released. Don't bother with others who can't even express their feelings on a positive way as soon as it's not rock or pop. I'm sure you're doing a great job. | |

TAC just isn't very good. It has zero hook, the lyrics aren't even a quarter as clever as his past ballads, and the melody isn't the least bit gripping. It never goes anywhere. It's really not that good of a song. It's adult contemporary lounge music. It's what you hear while waiting at the doctor's office. It never takes off at all.
