I'm only 18 (just turned) and I have been in love with him since 6th grade. He is the only artist who has changed my life and entertained me at the same time. I'm pretty obsessed I must admit but my level of "fan" is also sophisticated and I'm not a "groupie" by any means. I just appreciate him more than anyone can understand. | |

Co-sign...I was introduced to P at the tender age of 17 through a high school dance team instructor. Although it didn't automatically make me a fanatic, it piqued my interest in his music. I started listening to the extremely commercial songs, then moved on and started looking for lesser known songs. Now? Forget it...I'm collecting everything he wrote, sang, played, touched, thought about, breathed on...if P used tampons, I'd probably want one of those. And I'm only 24!!! I might be considered a "young" female Prince fan, I'm in my early twenties. I became a fan of his music at about age nine. I know other women my age who are impressed w/Prince. I think he has actually become sexier as he's aged. | |

makes me wonder how any f you younger prince-fans can already have such great collections f prince-memorabilia...turned 21 this year, it hasn't been easy for me to get my hands on anything prince and not only the dirt...as an obsessed newbie myself, catching up with Him takes a lot of time, money and heart... prince is unique, and i hate the thought f having missed just about everything he's put outthere over these years because of my age...especially the live performances, he's awesome...everytime i read when anything prince happened, all i can do is reflect on where i was and what i was doing at the time. prince's music legacy will last forever, i only wish i wasn't part f the second-hand generation. Well i've just turned 17 and im not gonna rest till i've raped his ass. Just playin...Prince is one sexy mofo though. And to be honest im jealous of all you guys that are older and got to see him back in the day,collected memorabilia etc and really felt "the experience". It's hard to even find another fan my age here or one who's willing to be educated on good music. No Freestyling. | |
