it seems to me that with some people, there has to be a buzz around an artist for them to actually be interested. following the trends and all that seems to be a big thing with most of the people my age, unfortunate as that may be. still, i don't blame the kid for getting into Prince starting with musicology at all.

not all of us were as lucky to be alive for most of prince's career. sad
