NAMOR

A duets album would be an interesting concept, but of course the all-time collaboration would have 2 be Prince and Michael Jackson, or maybe a slow jam with Janet Jackson. But anyone would agree that if P and MJ did a track 2gether it would be an instant hit!! Without a doubt!!! But they need 2 hurry up,they 'ain't gettin' any younger.
How about jam session with Prince, and Eric Clapton? A piano showdown with either Elton John or Billy Joel...

Pagey

I know this is a weird one but I have always dreamt of a collaboration between Prince and Jimmy Page. Hey look at me screen name. Pagey is my fave guitarist and I think that with Prince on bass and Pagey on a double neck they could go all night bouncing off each other.

Also would love Prince to play with Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Lindsay Buckingham (I know...huh???, but he is one hell of a musician and producer...his last album was beautiful), Joni, and Buddy Guy (can you say "jam all night?").

Just a thought...

Tina Turner, and Don Henley.
Not MJ, because if prince befriended him MJ might buy the rights to his music.

Mesell Ndegocello and her band...he might learn something about purehonestexplosive live spontanaety.

Thats what he's been missing in his official tours for years...pure creative unscripted sponteneous musical combustion on stage. That's what Meshell and her crew are masters of.

Though from what I hear this ONA tor is more loose than his pat tours. Maybe I'll get a chance to find out if Richmond doesn't get skipped.

Plus Meshell is a longtime hardcore fan of his anyway...i think they'd create some otherworld sh#t together.

(They already 'kinda' worked together...she donated the original bass line to 'Emale' on Emancipation. He later re-recorded the same bass line himself for the official release. He thanked her in the credits (as 'Bashir' which is her non-stage name)

bjork- to bring back some passion in prince's music.

radiohead- so prince will realize that not all rock is dead and that there are new and awesome ways to do it.

alana davis- to show him that black girls like rock too. anyone heard her? she is awesome. beautiful and rocks!!!!

cashmere/greenvelvet- to show him that you can do funk in new and creative ways and still be, well, *funky*

the roots- prince needs to respect the roots like miles respected him. it burns me up that these two entities tend to rip on eachother. beautiful music could happen. they all could learn so much from eachother...prince needs to listen to the freshblood.

and finally

Ms Badu- They should duet on a dominatrix song. She the master and he the servant. Cause she is such a strong black woman she can do him like that. smile

Definitely Michael Jackson. It would be funny as hell to be a fly on the wall of the studio listening to Prince barking out orders to Michael. Prince: "Alright Michael, we're gonna do this one in C" Michael: "Uh, gonna do what in C? What is C?

Peace,

Gil Scott Heron, I thought the samething once. But is he over his drug habit? I have a friend that knows him, last time he saw Heron, he didn't look to good. Too bad...he's one of the greatest conscious rappers of all time.

No coincidence, I would like to see, Prince and "Jill Scott" The beautful soul singer. I can only imagine.

I think Prince and Stevie Wonder should get together. And write a anti-war/terrorism song.

Alicia Keys...? Maybe
