I'm so excited about this. I'm sure that Prince will do what he does best, kick serious ass. Prince will do us all proud.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I hope that I'm wrong - but I'd place money on P performing as part of that Funk tribute medley - if the whole thing is 4 minutes, he'll have a minute. I hope I'm wrong but I can't see the Grammy people giving up valuable time to P to play something from NEWS or to play a new single. The Grammies is all about ratings - not about breaking new music or challenging the public. Just trying to keep expectations in check smile

Fuck the Grammys! If Janet is banned no one should perform! It was just a tit.

Janet can't sing live, therefor she shouldn't even be on the show. We're all talking about her tit not her voice. She should go to neverland and stay there.

Fuck the bullshit, Prince doesn't have the best voice either. He is a great entertainer and musician. This about PRINCIPLE! America is too Puritanical. I do recall the Red Hot Chilli Peppers wearing socks on their cocks one year..mmm.

- I honestly hope not...I would like to see Prince in that medley, but I wish I could see him playing an entire song.

I just saw on the E! channel that Prince is going to be seated next to Ellen Degeneres at the Grammys. Wonder if Ellen will convince Prince to appear on her show? That would be another "must see" appearance.

On another note, E! also talked about whether or not Janet Jackson would make an appearance at the Grammys. E! channel just said tonight that Janet will not be attending, which is probably a good thing, with what happened during the Superbowl show. People would be paying more attention and gossiping about what Janet was doing, what she was wearing, who she was sitting next to etc. etc. than the actual Grammy show itself.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I am excited about his performance because it will be his first performance to such a global audience in years. It´s not the same thing as performing in Leno or Letterman. Grammys are watched by the whole world. I am very curious about what he will choose to play. I dont believe he will have the guts to play some instrumental from NEWS, but I would be disappointed if he performed some of the old ´hits´. He will probably do a mix between an oldie and a relatively new song
Question of the day: which song do you think he will play?

Lets see her hit the high notes on GOD wink

Mariah Carey & Dru Hill couldn't hit Prince's ranges on Beautiful Ones (remake)

Janet is my gurl! But she doesn't have a voice.. she is smart enough to know her limitations

"minneapolis sound" + Janet being taught to write songs truthfully about her life = Janet Jackson's Success from 1986-NOW
