This is a fair point. I don't generally dismiss when women accuse men of abuse. However, Sinead has some credibility issues. For example, she had to retract what she said about Arsenio Hall providing Prince with drugs.

She is the only woman, to my knowledge, to accuse Prince of putting a hand on her. She has some mental instability, which is not laughing matter. My understanding is that her mother was physically and sexually abusive toward her. She has also been suicidal. Some people, through no fault of their own, suffer from mental health concerns, and these concerns require professional help. I hope that Sinead is receiving the professional help that she needs.

I agree with this. Not to minimize Sinead's serious mental health concerns, but she seems to have a penchant for saying or doing provocatively for the purpose of seeking attention. Ripping up a picture of the Pope on TV, accusing Arsenio Hall of providing Prince with narcotics, and accusing Prince of physical abuse are all examples of her provacative attention-seeking behaviors. From an applied behavior analysis framework, seeking attention is one of the four major functions of behavior (along with gaining automatic reinforcement or self-stimulation, avoiding/escaping non-preferred or aversive situations/tasks, and gaining access to tangible items).

Dave is Mayte's buddy...you know the lady saying that Prince never hit anyone. Dave also said that P and Manuela's marriage was not legal (we know that is not true). Kind of odd that Jill would be talking to Mayte's friend (since she wasn't too fond of mayte in recent posts)> also, before Charlen told those stories, Charlene was counter-suing prince because he sued her for stealing some of his stuff and trying to sell it. She countersued and presumably made up outrageous stories (probably trying to get him to settle). The judge threw out her accusations and PRince won the case. It never went anywhere and he never had to settle.

By the way, slightly off topic, but I have broken my wrist while roller skating. (three places). It sucks but it is actually surprisingly easy to do. All I did was pick up momentum skating, lost my balance and tried to brace my fall and then landed on my wrist. For all we know, prince made her dance to much and she fell or swirled her around while skating or whatever. Who knows. JIll is a little melodramatic sometimes.

Reading that makes me wonder if Mayte knows that Dave is writing here on the org or if he's doing it behind her back Okay I just searched his history on the forum WOW, it seems like he hates Prince. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Jill is lying, but I'm not so sure if Dave is telling the truth, because that agressive manner he used to write on here makes you believe that he's taking every opportunity to put Prince down. And if Mayte knows about it then she's a hypocrite, defending him against Sinead but letting Dave write stuff like that.

I dont think she knew. I dont think ShelbyJ knows either...I hope not since she is now online friends with both Dave and Mayte (and she has never really said anything bad about Prince--before his death or after). Who knows ? Are we sure that broken wrist story came from Dave?? Or maybe Dave is telling the truth about what Ms. JOnes said but took it out context because of his issues with Prince. I doubt he really even knew Prince that well. MOst people didn't...a security guard for Mayte sure as hell isn't going to know everything. I believe Mayte was telling the truth during that interview about his lack of violence. He may have creeped out Sinead (and her mental illnesses exasperated the fear) but I don't think he hit her. Sinead's original story in RS doesn't even have him hitting her. I think there was an argument at a recording studio in LA (because P's engineer Koppelman stated on facebook that he bummed a cig from Sinead before she and P had a fight in a recording studio in LA..) He never said it was a physical fight or not (or if he even knew).. But I think it was just an argument.
