That verbal statement she gave to detectives was right after Prince had passed. She apologized to Arsenio Hall for what she said about him supplying drugs to Prince, and Arenio sued her, but I don't think she ever apologized for the things she said about Prince.

Thanks, and that was my point. Harmless threads get pulled all the time, but this stays up? And, I didn't mean for it to get pulled because of Mayte. I'm actually grateful she stood up for him. It's the point of giving SO another 15 minutes of fame at Prince's expense. Why investigators spoke to her in the first place baffles me.

They spoke to Sinead because Sinead CALLED them and said she had info.

Agreed. In fairness, however, there is no shortage of Prince associates speaking up for and celebrating him. I think, in this instance, Wendy has decided to not even dignify Sinead's ridiculous claims.
