Did she just say there was an incident around 2010?

Yes. She said incident but didn’t go into any details. I’m a little annoyed with people who say “if I was there x wouldn’t have happened”. I think it’s BS and throwing people who were around under the bus. Also if she’s so concerned about how things are being done I’d be curious to know if she reached out to Tyka or the Estate. It’s easy to snipe from the sidelines.

I am glad she said something, and did not get the feeling she was hooking us or manipulating...this is her just being her outspoken self, and just saying as much as she wanted to about that subject at this time. I am glad she sad something. She's a lot more decent about these things than some of the associates.

This was a good long interview in which I learned more about P, and I thank her for that. Sh said his thinking came from some other place, and that's right! He was very connected to God. I also got a new curve on my perspective of him. I love when that happens. I saw him as the businessman with the crushed velvet blazer on in some of those photos taken I think at PP sometime in those last few years.

Please, associates, keep sharing with us.
Thank you.

I didn’t like that the interviewer brought up Jill and Cat as if every other band member or anyone else in P’s orbit were just yes people or sycophants. And Elisa mentions confidentiality agreements and that they basically shouldn’t matter any more because he’s dead. Um perhaps some people would prefer to keep many of their private memories with him private?

Depends what she means by 'incident'. Is this a case of Prince falling ill or being in obvious pain or him mismanaging medication?

It seems to me something around is health happened in 2010. She could be talking about his hip surgery, or it could be that he wasn't taking care of himself and people had to step in and say something, or it could even be that there was a "scare" of some kind.

She ssys his death could have been avoided, so not a terminal illness

She could very well be right, that this was about him simply not eating and sleeping, on top of the drug withdrawals shr didn't know he was going through. She was not there the last few years

Well yes we know what the cause of death was but she can’t know that it could have been avoided other than saying any death from an accidental painkiller overdose could have been avoided. It could also be that he had an illness he didn’t tell anyone (except maybe Tyka & Kirk) about. It’s not like it’s an either/or situation.

This is why it bugs me when people who weren’t around claim if only they had been around something wouldn’t have happened. I see this from fans on Facebook. They somehow delusionally believe they would have taken care of him and made sure he got the help he needed. As if there was something so obvious but Donna, Ida, Hannah, Josh, Liv, Damaris, etc. who were around the last few years turned a blind eye to it. Scottie Baldwin worked on some of the P&M shows including the ones at Paisley. He said he had no idea there issues and it was a complete shock to him. But all these people who weren’t there would have kept him alive if only they had been there? BS.

"...Kinda witnessed an episode"

"He needed us and we were there. And nothing happened. Not on our dime"

Elisa is implying P almost died in 2010 but she (they) prevented it?

Apparently she took the Nelson Cryptic Speak Course.

Josh, Hannah, Ida & Donna (Third Eye Girl) were no longer around either.
Scottie Baldwin and people hired to work with him like that were not in a position to say anything even if they had known,.
Morris Hayes told him once long before, thatthere was issues being talked about (that was damned courageous) and it helped Prince, who took some time off.
Damaris said after the plane incident You gotta take a vacation.

Elisa's response after Moline:
"When she found out Prince’s plane had to make an emergency landing last week, Elisa Fiorillo sent him a note via Twitter.
“I said, ‘Are you OK? I’m worried about you,’ ” recalls Las Vegas resident Fiorillo, who recorded with Prince and sang backing vocals in his band for a number of years. “And he wrote me back, ‘Perfect. Save your prayers. Controversy.’ ”
Prince’s response troubled Fiorillo, and so she wrote back. “I said, ‘I’m a mother. I care about you. You need to be eating, and you need to sleep — you never sleep. Please rest. I’m sorry if I sound like your mother, but I’m telling you.’ And he didn’t write back, and that was Friday.”

I don't know if people could see that twitter exchange? Can Twitter be private? If not, he wouldn't have wanted everyone to see anything personal. If so, he still didn't want anyone to know he was struggling. I don't know if he was totally lucid during those last several days because it was said he was very irritable (detox is a horrible thing), and I don't think he even knew how serious it was.

The one thing that makes me wonder if he knew was that he was working on Stay Cool. Sounds like a goodbye to me, although it could've just meant, "Stay Cool" in a normal respect, not necessarily in his absence.

It sounds like he pushed away the people who could help. She obviously has no love for KJ. I wonder why people like Elisa, JIll and Cat are openly angry at KJ and others (like Shelby and Kim) are completely fine with him. I can't say I understand that...maybe, the folks who are okay with KJ have talked to him about his actions and he defended himself and his intentions to such an extent that they have forgiven his "mistakes".

I know from reading the warrants etc that P was getting "Wish you well" private emails after the first overdose. So people were trying to reach out to him and he was of course cryptic and giving them the runaround.

I have another theory that recently popped into my head. What if on the night of April 20th, P had fired both Meron and KJ. Could they have just left pissed off and hurt that they had been fired (as well as unsure how to proceed) and then the next day they then decided that maybe his rash actions and his not responding to phone calls were indicative of his falling off the cliff (back into drug usage.).

On a regular basis? None of them (except for maybe bodyguards) were in 2016, that's for sure. Welton's were dealing with her pregnancy. Damaris was off on her missions and modeling.. Hanging out with Prince every once in a while is not the same thing as seeing the daily grind of drug addiction and illness. Plus, I don't think its a coincidence that P started to prefer the company of younger folks. They would'nt recognize the differences in his behavior after 2014 (as quickly) because they never knew him before then. Remember-- Jill stating something about his "chill" being different which seemed like a red flag to her--this is because she knew him well from back in the day..

—Those agreements can be upheld by the estate so she needs to watch herself and he did have surgery in 2010 do not surprised if there was an incident. Scotty already said Prince was having a hard time with pain around Musicology tour. You can see he looks thin around 2009 but looks good 2010- 2013.

From what Hannah said during her FB Live last year they seemed to still be close but she didn't say how often they saw each other.I was just saying they were still around in some capacity. It was said that Donna and her husband were living close by at the time too.It seems the ones he saw most often were Kirk,Meron and the bodyguards though perhaps some others visited frequently.

Don’t you think she means rehab could have saved him? Which it could have saved him from drugs but not an illness. It also does no good to get off drugs if you have an illness that is not going away.

But all these people who weren’t there would have kept him alive if only they had been there? BS.

Damaris Lewis was with him in New York at his book announcement and was with him in Oakland. According to the Star Tribune, Josh & Hannah were with Prince at the Dakota just a couple days before he passed. My point was people were around. Elisa is throwing them under the bus.

When did Elisa say Prince pushed her away? Jill and Cat weren’t part of his orbit for decades.

What younger people are you referring to? I don’t know who was around on a regular basis but how do we know who was around on a regular basis in other years when he wasn’t really touring. Prince was working with Kirk, Donna, Mononeon and Adrian Crutchfield. Was that only in 2015 or did it spill into 2016? Let’s not forget Adrian specifically went on Funkeberry’s podcast to shoot down drug addict claims. Why would he feel it necessary to do that? I just wish Elisa wouod really say what she wants to say or say nothing at all.

Remember this? https://www.facebook.com/...=br_rs

"The Prince Tribute album "I Wish U Heaven" is coming together more and more each day ! I am humbled by the response from my artist, producer and musician friends. If YOU or YOUR BAND want to be a part of this labor-of-love project in any way, please message me ASAP. Available Mid-December 2017 (free) ! Peace".

Even though it's gonna be free, there has to be some talk going on so people will bother at all. It's pr.

Feels just like it did when Judith Hill came out with the plane business just before her tour. These people are looking out for themselves and their interests first as far as I am concerned.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

Do you not think Prince was surrounded by yes men and women? I think this is one of the reasons he kept working with different people all the time. When people get close they start seeing things and questioning things and even dare to intervene.

She mentions an episode and since everyone knows how Prince died, dhe knew how her words would have been perceived. She said nothing and yet said a lot. Had the episode been the hip surgery, she probably would have said it, cause it's common knowledge now.

To me her words and wording implied that something happened, an episode as something which belongs to a greater picture. Something she was sure she and the others close at the time avoided from taking a darker turn, so it seems. I mean, how clearer can you be, when we all know he died of an overdose?

No I don’t think members of the NPG and producers/engineers like Scotty Baldwin and Dave Hampton were yes men/women. Someone like Kirk or personal assistants? Perhaps but no moreso than any other celebrity.
