I am not going to dig up old threads trying to verify if you wanted to get your hands on stuff Prince didn't want you to have. Nope, not doing it. I'll take your word for it.

I hear what you are saying nursev. I am kinda shocked at the timing of the release date, but I also kinda expected the people close to Prince doing this exact thing. Especially his wives since they have probably a lot to share. I knew the books would come rolling out after his passing it was just a question of when. I am honestly not sure how I feel about this. A part of me is mad as hell for the fact he is gone and there is nothing we can do to change this. But on the other hand maybe it is therapeutic for Mayte to do this and is not strictly for financial reasons although duh that is definitely a nice by-product.

This just sux butt that we may have to read about Prince's life and thoughts and feelings from other peoples perspective when we were about to get his personal memoirs The Beautiful Ones released per what he said earlier this year. I pray his family and friends speak the truth and nothing but the truth and not slander Prince.
