/// Lot's of information about his work ethic and process which I feel is getting lost in the sauce of media non-sense

If Leeds and his wife wrote this article on the day of Prince's death--then that is pretty damn cold.

I am not saying they are lying or don't have legitimate points. I am saying that on the day of anyone's death (who wasn't a mass murderer or natural enemy) perhaps trying to remember what you like about the guy might be more respectful. Alan Leeds comes off somewhat likable; his wife a bit less so--not because she is condemning the lunacy of fame and star worship but because she is doing so while being paid to write an intrusive article about this particular celebrity who just died. It is as cold as she claimed to Prince to have been. She seems to think she is better than the celebrity circus--well, if she was, she wouldn't write this stuff on the day of someone's death.

Now, that being said, if I read the article incorrectly and it was a reprint from an earlier article, then I stand corrected.

I think it was a reprint from an earlier article I will have to check but once again what made him so bad. He was hardworking and demanding but they were all getting a paycheck and were free t to leave if they did not like it. He did not even cuss out Alan when the show in Alabama went bad.

Wasn't Alan the one crossed off/left off the "influence list"? If so, no wonder. lol

Good grief - of course, they didn't write it that day. rolleyes

It takes a fair amount of time to get something like this written, art directed, coded and made live online. (I know - I work in digital content.) There is no way it was all done that very day.

I mean if he did have sex he would break every rule Jehova's have regarding premarital sex so Prince is really just friends with them all anyway.

Well, I hope you are right, because if it was done on that very day,it would have taken all day to write an article about Prince on the day of his death--making them look even worse.

Wouldn't someone on here had read the article already if it was written before his death?

I am right. The article was reprinted from the Winter 2012 issue of Wax Poetics. I know. I own it. I've read it.

Satisfied?

Actually, believe it or not, I am very satisfied and a bit relieved. I would hate to think that Leeds felt so little of P that he would rehash that stuff on the day of his death.

Thanks for cheering me up a bit.

I am not conspiratoral or anything, and the article didn't upset me until I read the date and then it just totally bummed me out. I am glad to know its a reprint and from four years ago.
