I didn't say you changed it for any particular reason. I just noticed that someone who dresses up like Mazarati is making some extreme claims about the music, but if you say otherwise then fine. Anyway you made my point for me. You admit yourself, that in a large crowd of people... no one knew what THE HELL was on the screen, except you: the delusional cat in drag making an azz out of himself, so that EVERYONE will notice that you know the words to the song. Case closed. And the ONLY reason Prince is playing the stuff now has to do with his desire to BLOCK the group from gaining rights to their album's master.

Who's delusional? All of a sudden I've gone from wearing makeup to dressing in drag. News to me! Pretty hilarious how you seem to know so much about me (although it's all wrong) yet I've never even seen your name on this forum before. Get off my dick, dude and stop having drag fantasies about me.

As for the bold part, sure, I guess that's why Taja Sevelle's video was played as well. And Brown Mark's, whose album wasn't even released on PP so Prince has no legal claim to it anyway. Yeah right. lol

I think my version of your story is funnier. It's not intended to be fact. But I bet my take on it is more true than not true. biggrin

Oh what, now you bitter? You started taking personal shots at me for absolutely no reason. I took some back at you in return. But it is FACT that you post photos of yourself in drag like Mazarati on the Org, so... I wasn't joking about that. Idon't know why you would think I WOULDN'T mention it in a conversation where you picked a fight and exaggerated the impact of Mazerati.

I actually paid $250.00 for my Mazarati CD about 10-15 years ago. It's not like I don't like the album at all. I just know where it belongs on the pecking order of music. And it is nowhere near the quality of 'Condesnsate', not even remotely close.

Yeah? Again... news to me. I would love to see these mythical photos of me in drag. I've posted normal photos like everyone else does, and considering I topped the list of sexiest org males a few weeks back, I guess more than a few ladies like the way I look... and that's far from wearing drag.

Kinda funny how I'm the one allegedly picking a fight when I didn't even bring up Mazarati in this thread. Your the one that started taking shots at another member with a Mazarati avatar. And yeah, their album is still WAY better than Condensate. Every single member of The Time bar Jerome has put out better quality material than anything on the album.

I still like it, but is ANYTHING on there in the top 10 or even 20 of Jam and Lewis productions? Is it anywhere as good as any of the first 4 Time albums? Is it as good as any of Jesse's albums?

It's funny, cos I like The Time and it's individual members much more than FDeluxe, but the FDeluxe album is about 100x better than Condensate.

'Condensate' is better than 'Ice Cream Castles' and 'Pandemonium' wink and I think it holds its own when compared to the solo albums, too.

I like the Mazarati album but I really believe that their appearance is what ruined things for them.Even BrownMark tried to distance himself from those outfits lol "Prince made them wear those clothes....he made them look like that",he said in a 1987 interview. But when the record flopped,"I got blamed for alot of things".Even though Prince had alot of success with androgynous outfits, that look didn't go over very well for a funk band.80s 'big hair' bands like Poison could get away with that, but not a funk band.

There's nothing on there as good as "Jungle Love", "My Drawers", "The Bird", "Jerk Out", "Skillet", "Blondie", "Data Bank", "Chocolate". IMO. And it's not even just because of Prince, because I don't like anything on Condensate more than "Fishnet", "The Oak Tree", "Are You Ready", "Can You Help Me", "Be Your Man", "I Want My Girl", "Baby Let's Kiss" or COUNTLESS Jam & Lewis productions of the 80's AND 90's.

Now it sounds like I'm really hating on Condensate lol which isn't fair because I do really, really like the album. Just not as much as the aforementioned, lol.

Oh, man! That's a hard task because my favorites keep changing. I just played this album for a friend of mine who hadn't listened to the Time since the 80s and she was amazed at how good this album is. I am more and more impressed with Jessie Johnson's guitar licks the more I listen to this album. For now, my list would be:

1. If I Was Yo Man

2. Condensate

3. Strawberry Lake (Sly & Family Stone vibes(

4. Faithful

5. Toast To The Party Girl

6. Trendin'

7. Sick

8. Cadillac

9. Role Play

10. One Step

11. AYDKMN

12. Go Home To To Man

13. Lifestyle

14. Hey Yo

Everything else is recycle bin bound.

Skimming through the album again and I just can't help but cringe during most of these tracks.

Faithful,Sick,Lifestyle,HeyYo,ToastToThePartyGirl,OneStep = Unlistenable.

Condensate is a good album, a very good album. Mazarati is an excellent album, a classic of the Mplsound. Players ball 100 mph and Stoke. Theres nothing on Condensate that comes close to those songs.

Jordan on the Wizards!

I laugh everytime I see your Mazerati avatar and then read your many posts dogging out O7. I mean, you rep for Mazeratti. Mazer-Fake Time-ati??? The group that let Prince dress them up in lipstick and dresses. The group with one album, featuring one good song on it. You rep that sht, but then you come at 'Condensate'. Yeah right...
