i just told her that i thought she was a wonderful dancer, and that i like prince,etc.

Yeah it's a Prince fan who never heard of Misty Copeland and then thanks to Prince, he got to know how wonderful dancer Misty was. So he just sent an email saying "I'm a Prince fan and I wanted to let you know, I thought you're a terrific dancer" type of Email. And in this case Misty obviously cared to reply to say something back. I'd personally never email her and say stuff like that but I don't get why you think Prince fans shouldn't contact her just because they are "Prince fans".

That's cool! I thought she danced beautifully too. I watched Prince on Lopez with my roommate who's doing gymnastics and the whole time she was complementing Misty for being a graceful and emotional dancer. I'm sure she appreciated encouraging feedback from u!

Misty is amazing! She is from L.A. originally and I think that is why Prince is in town. He is just chilling, meeting her family, etc. and trying to figure out some way to play 21 nights somewhere.

Cool! I'm glad you got exposed to a wonderful dancer and I'm sure she is flattered by people emailing her commenting on how great a dancer she is. More exposure for her art. Being associated to a babe like Prince ain't bad exposure for someone!! That is awesome that you took the time to email her and give her a compliment, those kind of emails are probably much appreciated by hardworking artists.

no offense to anyone but i wouldnt email her.

i can not STAND her and idk why. she seems nice & all but its just
