I have no idea why he does what he does. But I also feel reasonably sure that Sheila wouldn't post those videos if she didn't think it was okay, and that she would delete them from her Facebook page if Prince didn't like them. Since they're still there, I'm thinking it was some other reason Sheila went home.

I don't believe that for a moment....time will tell if she is at the Welcome 2 America....then again she might just because other artists like Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam (just example of the many) has got up in her ass about how she responded...it was indeed wrong. Oh for Chrissakes, with all of the millions Prince is worth do you honestly think it would break his bank to pay a percussionist's tour salary of several thousand per week? For what reason does she have to worry about licking the collective behinds of people and go out of her way to make them feel comfortable about her being removed from a tour? Why talk in circles? While we don't know why he changed his mind for having her along, to quote you, "given their longterm friendship", I would argue that his "friend" shouldn't have been released from those dates, considering she too put in press time and is clearly an added bonus to a tour many will be happy to see.

They actually are working in the studio on various projects including new The Time record. Mr. Lewis and Mr. Jamm have no problems speaking for themselves. They just didn't speak about this subject despite what was mistakenly posted here.
