Morris Day's Color Of Success Tour 1985

I caught this tour when it came to Rochester NY. with Full Force opening, good show.
I'm sitting here listening to a boot of his Detroit show & I was wonder if anybody knew the members of his touring band for this tour?

I don't know who his touring band was, but I saw him on that tour at the Met Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. The Jets opened for him. Excellent show.

I went to that concert. Everyone was disappointed because he performed a lot of The Time songs and did the same dance moves as he did in "Purple Rain". We felt like we were watching the movie again.

Saw him on this tour in the summer of 1986 in Tulsa, OK's Riverfront Ampitheater with Nu Shooz opening (fronted by Valerie Day, of all names). Still have a paper-thin tour t-shirt somewhere in storage. Remember it well... fun concert.

Morris is still doin that today. He played in Columbia, SC last April and he did the same exact set list he did at Prince's Rave 2000 show.

I saw this show in Cleveland, Ohio. Starpoint was the opening band. I also thought that I was watching Purple Rain, but only because of the weed that we were smoking. That night was a blur.

Yeah, but that kicks Ass!!! The show I saw there was like 5 other bands and he didn't close. New Edition did, but I think we left after Morris played cause I don't remember them at all. He must have done something right. I've been to 50 plus Time shows and going to another one Saturday cool
