OK, there is another new interview that Denise has done (with blogtalkradio.com) and I would say this is her most revealing interview of the TRUE Denise out of all the interviews I've heard. I was glad to hear this interview because it made me realize just how irritating and hypocritical Denise is. She'll try to act sweet one minute, and then she'll go off the next. My goodness, they had a few callers call in and Denise got all carried away over the most stupid shit if they had a differing opinion. Another funny thing is that she said she hardly listens to any music (not even gospel) and instead of playing music in the car she plays her bible on CD in the car real loud or a religious station that just reads scriptures. Did anyone ever tell her that it's OK to enjoy music? After all, music is a gift from God and there IS clean music out there with good messages.

She was also asked about her gay fans and she basically didn't sound too pleased about gay people and says that if your a fan you're a fanatic and if you're going to be a fanatic you need to be a fanatic about Jesus and that otherwise you're going to hell for idolatry. She also says that God can save you no matter what kind of sin you are in (when asked about gays). She also says that if you're gay, then you basically shouldn't sleep with anyone period because only a husband and wife can sleep together (b1tch please ).

Another thing I had to laugh at in the interview was when the interviewer said, "Now I hear that you don't accept any of the royalties from your work as Vanity," and then Denise said, "I never said that," and goes on talking about what her royalty checks used to be and what they are now. OK, so you shun and put down everything related to Vanity, but you'll still accept royalties from things you did as Vanity??? Talk about contradicting your damn self and making no sense. Then again, this is the same woman who said in the interview that her and Prince still talk through osmosis and dreams.

Exactly. Love one another. I don't agree with homosexuality lifestyle either but that doesn't mean I hate a person because he is gay or she is a lesbian or bi-sexual. Denise Matthews does not hate anyone. Denise wants to bring people to Jesus. She will not drag you there. I have met her, I am gay and she was nothing but sweet with me. Jesus does not hate on anyone. He is disappointed in how we treat are bodies and others. Whether you are gay , straight, bi.. whatever , you can choose to live a life in sin or one that follows Jesus. Denise is not searching for the next big thrill or rush anymore. She is at peace , she is at home. I hope we can all one day feel the same!!!

They're mostly united for Republican causes and dive head-first into religion.

I have no time for religious crap like this and people like Denise. She is total hypocrite. I've never understood why so many people seem to adore her. She's got very little talent and she lets religion rule everything she does these days. To me, that's a huge mistake and a huge waste of time. In an earlier post you said, "Have any of you actually listened to the interview?" as if people should listen to it first (which they should) before they make judgements, and now you're asking someone why they listened to the interview??? Um, the interview was posted for people to listen to and draw their own conclusions.
