 Yeah, I remember being shocked to see her at the UTCM premiere. Of course at the time I knew her from winning the Spokes Model competition from Star Search. It was reported they were just friends but I remember thinking, yeah right! There was also another picture of her in a silver suit. Either it was made specifically for her, or she was wearing Prince's clothes because it was typcial Prince garb at the time complete with shoulder pads, printed flowers, buttons down the pants, etc. Note- This was in 85, when Prince was supposed to be serious about Susannah, and a couple of others. It was already rumored that the song was about her in early'94 BEFORE the song was released.He was supposedly seeing her and was spending time and recording songs in a studio in Paris in late '93 in order to be close to her. Later on the song was supposedly about Nona Gaye, whom he was rumored to be about to marry. And then even later on it became a song about Mayte
