Tamar speaks out about Milk & Honey

This year has been a wonderful and overwhelming year. And with each day there is always news to be shared, heard, and explored. Many of you have been asking about the "Milk & Honey" album produced by my mentor and the genius PRINCE and co-written by me. Unfortunately, that album will not be released due to representation on all levels. I have started fresh and I would like to give you some sneak peaks for you to get a feel and an understanding of what Tamar has been up to lately. Oh dear!! Big halabaloo!

not for anything, I love Prince, but i totally blame him for this, and this shows his lack for devoting time to projects. This album could have come out, i know they may have been looking for some big push, but if they were preaching about her talent, which she has, then the goal should have been to just release it and then let word of mouth do the rest.

Most of the attention she gets will be from all the buzz that's already been put out there. The Prince, as well as the Beyonce connection will make people take note. But the rest is up to her. Hopefully the video is hot.

First track is ok, as far as Beyonce type tracks go.
Afro pic is nice.

the guy who is helping her produce did some work with MYA for her upcoming cd too.

did Milk & Honey ever leak? i haven't seen hide nor hare of it. which is surprising, since it got so close to release (several times, in fact). pretty sure i saw a couple of reviews, so obviously there were some promos sent out.

"representaton on all levels" means just that. she had problems with the big label (was it sony or universal or something) and problems with prince. my guess is the label wanted certain terms and prince didn't like the terms and in the end, the only person who lost out was tamar. but that's just a guess.

I knew there was some bullshit afoot when her name wasn't on the Vegas roster

And WHY did P go through all the motions of promoting this child to death just to drop her w/ an unreleased album??? I don't get it... at least she can actually SING, those fucking twins can't do nothin' but look cockeyed & scare you w/ their damn eyeshadow

It's better this way, cause atleast Tamar will be able to form her own identity and not fall into the bag of being another "Prince girl"

Who knows, when she finally comes out she might be a totally different artist from who she is now.

We all know, better than anybody how our boy tends to "Princefy" everyone he works with

I'm disappointed as a fam, but I'm happy for Tamar
