Oliver

Now I know about Larry G!

LAWD help me.

I used 2 not understand why people dis-liked the dude. But after watching Rave Un2 for the 1st time...I can clearly see why people frown upon him.

Yes, respect him for being an elder and excellent bass player, but his ass belongs with Rev. Al Sharpton on a pulpit, somewhere, and not with Prince's music where thangs get erect and moist.

Anxiety

as long as he's not getting all JW on stage, i don't mind it when he plays with prince - i think it's fun to watch him play bass, though tina and her damn towel kinda scares me. lol

Anyone that questions Larry G. as a musician should check out the track Today from the GCS album Release Yourself. That dude is a bass genius.

I don't think anyone with a brain would question his bass skills or him as a musician (that would be like questioning Robert Johnson as a guitarist, doesn't make sense and shows what kind of music illiterate and retard one is...)
Questioning his sanity on the other hand...

That because too many people think he brainwashed Prince. Which I don't think is the case at all. Prince was raised as a 7th Day Adventist. They are a offshoot of the JW's. Since the begining of P's career he always had religious themes in is music. People usually get more into their religion has they get older. My point is P would have mellowed out even if he had never met Larry.

A lot of fans on this board are little crazy if they can't stop living through vicariously Prince. Everybody has got to live their own lives and do what is best for them. We don't know P as a person we don't know what type of trails he has been throught so we can't really judge.

I sometime find anti-religious people to more close minded and judgemental than religious people.

Well that is a first but, I know I can't be the only one that is sick and tired of the Let's bitch about Larry converting Prince to the JW routine on this board.

As if Larry put a MF gun to P's head.

Let's be honest P has probably spent most of his adult life being an ass and probably needs to Lord more so than the average person (LOL).

A little religion and some humbleness seems to have made him a little better of a person at least on the surface.

It looks like he waited until his wife left this time before parading around with other woman. (LOL)

Obviously you've never heard the guy speak (he talks and phrases everything he says as if it's something extremely important and deep... Prince even copied that from him since the late 1990's...)
