it doesn't even let me create a new paragraph. if i hit enter and type on the next line, it puts it all on one line.

fixed it. if anyone else has this problem, you have to add the site to compatability view. or turn on compatability view for all websites.

good grief.

This has been explained at least a dozen times.

You fix this by using [ url ] and [ / url ]

Do you have the option of installng Firefox or Chrome?

I can't find your specific problem on the Internet, but it appears that IE10 has issues with a lot of sites related to Javascript, paragraphs, and CSS style sheeting.

Some sites appear to work if you force "compatibility mode" via "tools" on your menu. But, this appears to be a way that the information is dsiplayed for you personally, and not how it interacts with the website---your formatting issues actually appear to the rest of us, so I don't think this will work.

Again, not trying to sound like an ass, but do you the option of installing another browser, or is this a company computer?

compatability mode fixed it. why it wasn't a default in IE10... who knows.

and I'm not interested in Chrome or Firefox. too damn old to be learning the vagaries of a new browser.

I'm older than you and I like chrome razz

Firefox has become somewhat old and bloated for my tastes tho, may as well stick with IE if you're going to use that one.

anyone having trouble with that Message Inconsistency thing when trying to reply to threads (without a block quote) because you typed on the first line and didn't enter a blank line, as was the case with both IE 9 and IE 10, Compatability Mode fixes that as well.

Had that same problem previously.

This is what I tried and it worked for me. Hit your return key 3 to 4 times and type and then post.
