Forum warning banners.

It seems that video from youtube/wherever still seems to get posted in the P M&M forum on a regular basis despite the bright warning banners at the top of the page.

I suggest that these banners could do with a revamp. Video seems to be posted by long time members here too, so it is not just by excited and maybe naive (to the rules) newer members.

Maybe changing the colour to a brighter (day glo?) background would make people at least notice that a change had been made, and they would maybe be more inclined to read the warnings and abide by them (for a time).

Posting video is not allowed for a good reason, same with posting bootleg links and/or where to get them.

It would be a shame if prince.org were to get in trouble for such a silly act.

People need reminded!

wink

Peace.

I've made the suggestion AGES ago, that the banners should be muted on the main page, and instead, whenever a person posts something, in the edit screen when they're typing their text in, the banners should be all over the place there.

That way it's immediately in-your-face while you're editing and submitting your post.

Folks don't take notice of the rules or the banners.

There is always going to be folks that post them here.

Plus the org does not need a legal smackdown from you know who.

In that case maybe the mods should start issuing bans to those who post video without following site rules.

Maybe that would make people take notice of the rules.

An intellegent and reasoned approach, here?

Dude, I am a complete and total genius. I'm so smart I don't even need to spell correctly.

The org should really listen to me.
