Originally, I had ordered a SMALL. I know for certain that I ordered a small, because it is an unusual size and I am frequently stuck with shirts that don't fit snug. The email we received said that many members didn't select a size for their shirts, and that if we feel we may have made this mistake to send an email response correcting this mistake. Otherwise we would receive a MEDIUM. I DIDN'T send an email correcting any mistake because I SAW the field in which we were to select a size, and I SELECTED IT. Yet, the shirt I received in the mail was a MEDIUM. I am going to try to contact Lotusflow3r to get this corrected and I will report my success back here, but I am not hopeful at this point.That's not cool to have a mistake made at Lotusflow3r.com blamed on the users when this clearly was not the case. the email also told you what you had selected and if that had been right, you were to do nothing but if it was a mistake you were to tell them You are wrong. u can't always tell from a photo...but that t-shirt looks pretty damn cheap... just as well we only pay for the 'delivery'....
so what else do we get for our $77 (that's almost $140 in my currency BTW!!) lets do the math... $77 minus $12 for the cds we could download rather than buy (how many didn't buy the cds anyway though?) so that makes $65 of content to be upped over the 12 months... 1 extra song not on any album previously...singles on I-Tunes are $2 or so... that makes $63.... maybe 6 video clips that we haven't seen before or can't get anywhere else - but strictly speaking we can't download those so does that still count? hmmm, maybe...so ok, all the video content would fit onto a dvd easily (the bitrate is no where near DVD quality)...so maybe if a 'packaged DVD is $15 - bearing in mind its not on a dvd, its not packaged, it isn't DVD quality - and we can't watch it any old time unless we r hooked up to the internet...so I'll be generous and give the videos so far a value of $8..... tally so far $55 I shouldn't count the t-shirt - its 'free'...but once again I'm feeling generous...it can't be easy being Prince, a month's rent alone for him is probably more than I earn in a year.... I've seen better quality t-shirts for $5.00...but lets say we pay $5 for that t-shirt (hell its costing me more for shipping LOL) so that makes $50 left over..... in 2001 that would have been 6 months of ahdio shows in 2002, that would be about 2.5 cds (5 cds cost us $100)... in 2003 $25 got us a packaged CD (NEWS) a full cd to download (Expectation) and an EP to download(C-NOTE) 6 months can be a long time in 'Prince-time' though...we'll see what happens.... but so far, so not pleased.... I FINALLY got mine yesterday.
The cotton is pretty soft, but I'm not pleased with the "decal" or iron-on quality of the design. The front design is the cover of the Lotusflow3r cd and it's not that big in size. The founding member lettering on the back is comprised of the same cheap iron-on material and it's hig-up neck the neck of the shirt. For $77.00 per year, he could have done better than this. I won't be renewing my membership next year. It hasn't proven worthy thus far. | |

From the picture it looks like the stitching is quite neat, not the thrown together look. If Genesia is around maybe she could comment!
Have any women received theirs yet? Will be interesting to see what the cut is like .. maybe I'm hoping for too much but I would have thought they'd be more fitted but maybe they're just smaller sizes ...  | |
