moms got her shirt the same way. I wonder if they got a bulk deal on older ups shipping bags?

They probably sent someone to gank all the ups bags out of those mailboxes they have. Heh...that's probably why the shirts took so damn long, they usually only have 3-5 bags per box if you're lucky lol

Well screw me in the mouth and finger my lowest cavity. In the past two weeks people have been receiving t-shirts since March. I'm STILL WAITING, waiting for the love to come around. Regular USPS in the U.S. takes three days (excluding Sundays) regardless of location. The day its sent, the day its received and a day in between. So why has't my shirt made it to Florida yet? Someone replied this is their first letdown since becoming a fan in 1983. Well, I'm losing count and I became a fan at the age of 10 (in 1984); and it mostly began when Prince started overseeing the consumer side of his business in 1994. The bi-month mag, NPG were to be six issues a year. I never received #3 until purchasing a copy on ebay a few years ago and the other three expanded themselves in a two year ratio. Anybody got issues 5 & 6 yet? I'm serious Prince, I want my t-shirt or this place is ash!!!
u asked me if eye heart u, it's automatic

I finally got mine today! I live in Michigan (U.P.), last name starts with a B. I wasn't expecting to like it, but it's actually pretty nice, other than the fact that it's a little big.

I'm usually not one to complain, but quite honestly, I was expecting thicker material myself. And the image is a bit grainy and seems like a transfer from a low dpi JPEG. Wouldn't be too disappointed in the shirt if the LF folks hadn't specifically commented that it's "nice quality". Of course, I probably wouldn't be disappointed in the site itself if not for the web designer's pre-site-launch promises.

I think it's time we get over all this. I mean, we expected something big, they promised us.... and then it didn't happen.

Well, I really didn't care one way or the other about the shirt when I signed up, and I'll probably never wear the thing. (It's a bit too big.) My comments on the shirt were really more observation than a complaint. Oh, I didn't notice this earlier, but the shirt was sent regular mail, but it's in a plastic UPS mailer turned inside-out with a label mailing from Stamps.com. No big deal really, but I guess I just expected something more professional. Again, not complaining, but it's just an observation. smile

My last name begins with C and I received my shirt today. I think the quality is very nice. My shirt is a large; however, it does not have "Founding Member" on the back like the one pictured on the first page of this post. The material is a very soft stretchy type. I would think with gentle hand-washing it will hold up fine. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER! Just to be safe if you want to keep the shirt looking half decent.

that's weird!

and yeah, i don't think it's the best silkscreening in the world, but that's exactly why i am going to throw it in the dryer a few times. i think it will look better if it's a little cracked and distressed, like an old 80s concert tee or something. but that's just my own weirdo opinion. lol

First and foremost: I'm NOT attacking anyone here, so please relax..

But HOW THE HELL can you still talk about whether the damn shirt has arrived or not, how silly it's packaged, whether the cotton is a) not so stretchy, b) a bit stretchy, or c) very stretchy, if the print is well- or just medium-done, what the damn first letter of your name is, and ALL THAT STUFF?????

eek eek eek eek

Damn, give me a break, ...
WE PAID 77$ (that's seventy-seven U-S-D-o-l-l-a-r-s in times of recession) for EXCLUSIVE MATERIAL, for LIVE FOOTAGE, for PREMIUM ACCESS TO FIRST CLASS TIX (Montreux anybody), for PREVIOUSLY UNSEEN LIVE STUFF WHAT KIND WHATEVER....
NOBODY, I say NOBODY entered that forcking universe for a damn shirt!

DAMN, this may sound quite naive, but I've NEVER been ripped off so bad in my life, at the end of the day paying 77 bucks and getting plainly NOTHING!

A SHIRT????? Put the shirt in your can't say, stupid bizness ass you like it....

Do you REALLY care about a SHIRT???? Really, I don't wanna start bitchin' and hatin' here, but DO YOU REALLY DO?

THAT'S AMAZING!!!!!

I really would expect EVERYONE on this world who paid the 77 to SHIT on this damn shirt which only reminds us of some straight-ass rip-off we paid for only a few weeks ago!!!

I'm simply amazed! My only thought about the shirt (if I ever get one) is WHEN and WHERE to sell it best (now or in 10 years, here or on evilbay) to get as much back of what I paid for this shitty site as possible....

Sorry, again, nothing personal here, I'm just encountering one of those magic moments where you seem to get to know how humans are...

Simply amazed..

My ghetto-fabulous inside-out UPS trash bag T-shirt arrived today. (I'm in NYC and alphabetically by last name, I'm near the end.)

The first thing I noticed when I tried it on is that the image seems slightly off center. (The white "beam" that extends straight up from Prince's head/crystal ball seems to be a little off center in relationship to the front of the shirt; I would think that should be exactly in the center of the collar/shirt.) Anyone else notice that, or am I maybe just imagining it?
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

duh My 59th birthday is next Thursday. I guess my old ass is going blind. After reading your post, I went back to check the back of my shirt, and sure enough, "Founding Member" is there. I don't know how I missed it at first because I swear I turned that shirt over to see the back and did not, I repeat, DID NOT see it the first time!

^^No, you are quoting somebody who is so sick of being ripped off by that guy that he'll never put a single buck in his greedy throat no more.
I'm going to unsign from my LF membership asap and I will feel extremely righteous ripping ALL the stuff from torrent sites a minute after they're on his shitty "galaxy". And if I'll wait for like 3 days, I'll even have them in much better quality, everything... Plus I'll never have a bad conscience about throwing my bucks at bootleggers again,..
Take this: I had these doubts before, but I'll NEVER have'em again.

pop a xanax, seriously!

the great majority of us are WAY dissatisfied about how LF.com turned out and many of us feel like we didn't get our money's worth. look at the poll on the front page if you don't believe me...and elsewhere in this very forum you can find a link that an angry LF.com member created to a petition to be sent to the sitemasters, voicing dissatisfaction with the site.

just because we're talking about the t-shirts we got in the mail doesn't mean we're happy or unhappy about the site. we're just talking about an item we're all currently getting in the mail, that's all. don't let it set your teeth on edge! lol

i got mine today. It came in a UPS bag that was turned inside-out which is fairly standard for other items i have received like this. i have seen a lot better silk screening but the shirt is nice. i will probably wear it to play drums at church on Sunday. The weird part is, i think the label is nicer than the shirt. All said though, i am glad it finally arrived and hope for more great LF stuff to come. Now if we could just get a tour....
