Is i just me or does the end of the undetaker video sound like the intro and outro to Lotusflower

Sure - I'd like to see things like the Second Coming, the elusive 3121 movie and some previously unseen concerts in their entirety. But I'll have to put my foot down at the promo videos - for songs that most fans don't even rate (or even own)!

I don't know if this has been mentioned on this thread but the way you guys are responding, God only knows what will happen if Prince decided to put unreleased songs like "Moonbeam Levels", "Purple Music". "In a Large Room With No Light", "Electric Intercourse" or even the "Dream Factory" CD on his site. Will all of you go buckwild with that because you already have it?

First off i warn you lot i might go on a little bit here, but i've gotta get some stuff off my chest. Even tho i know nothing is going to change but i just wanna do this anyway. Firstly, why is he putting stuff up that everyone has. To be honest, i think he should be more focusing on the success of Lotusflow3r and not his past. Lotus is a masterpiece and MPLS just misses the mark a little bit but is still a great album. These albums have great potential to blow up the music industry and get the world to once again acknowledge his work.

Bizarrely Prince has not put the promo videos on MTV or stations like that to receive mass public attention which i feel the project needs to become successful. Instead the videos are on the site. People that aint aware of his work are not going to shed out money to become a member when they dont even know about him.

I'm just soooo confused that he is not promoting this release hard enough. For example, The UK where im from has no release date and rarely appears in HMV at an expensive £30 price tag. No one other than a Prince fan would buy this so once again he is losing out. I was lucky to get two copies of this album from a lovely lady on here and still even with postage it was cheaper than the price over here.

Also no radio's i know of in the US and UK have played any of these tracks aswell so i dunno what he really wants. The albums are amazing and he really should be doing more to get this out there as his two albums are two of the best albums of the year. They rank up there with U2's new album and of course Wendy and Lisa's album.

But back to the site. The site we all know is terrible. Full of stuff we have already seen etc i dont need to go on as everyone keeps going over the same thing. But really i feel the site shouldnt be adding stuff like undertaker (i'm surprised it even went on their especially with his religious beliefs). Lotusflow3r.com should be hosting exclusive content related to that album and this era!

For example having extended versions of Boom!, Wall Of Berlin, Love Like Jazz and even No More Candy 4 U would i feel be more well received by us and be something that no bootleggers could ever get. Another thing they could put up, exclusive live performances of these tracks or one big one off online concert where they play only the new albums material live.

I'm not saying i dont like the undertaker because i love it. But i strongly feel that he should put up stuff that we cannot get from bootlegs and this is what would make the membership and site more like what was expected!

Prince only promotes when he NEEDS to. He doesn't. Not for the last few records he's released 3121, Planet Earth, and this set. He's on record as stating that he's gotten his money upfront for all these deals... so he has no need to go out and work to sell CDs... that's the job of the distributor/retailer, as far as he is concerned. He feels he got paid for his services, now if they want to get paid, then they need to perform THEIR services, and sell the record. He doesn't see himself as a salesperson when he doesn't have to.

That's why you won't see videos on MTV, you won't hear songs on radio... part of that is that they probably wouldn't play it anyway, but the bigger part of it is that he is not interested in servicing those promotional outlets.

As far as he's concerned, it's a wrap.
