lame, very lame. There was no good reason just to shut the club down. They should have let it be until they came up with something they liked better.

Oh well, it was near worthless anyway as it was a "Music" club with no new music. It won't be missed by me.

i always got on well with the PPs, even when i had issues with moderation and complained about it. i had some great conversations about music in chat with a couple of the PPs.

it's some of the MEMBERS i had a problem with. and the weird thing was, i thought most of the people over there hated me, but a couple of NPG/org mutts proved to me that, no, it was just a couple of people who were VERY obnoxiously vocal.

and believe it or not, i even welcome THOSE people back here (mods willing).

I had a feeling something was coming when I heard the demo but I was still caught off guard. I would have preferred if things ended on a happier note with maybe 24 hours notice to members.

I won't miss those forums because it was difficult for anyone not in the clique to participate anyway. Although I did meet a few really great people, there was always a handful of folks waiting to piss on your cheerios if you didn't belong to the "in crowd". So far, no such hierarchy exist here on the org and I hope it stays that way.

Above all, I just hope Prince is in good spirits and will soon have some nice things to share. Whatever he decides, he'll always have my support.

The site was shut down abruptly and RD and his exclusive network of assholes went into panic mode. They have to go outside now and interact with real people and risk getting their asses kicked. Justice has been served.

I've been a member for a while now but like other members I still haven't had chance to make use of the member seats at concerts. This was a main factor to me joining as well as the retail shop!

Can we buy merchandise still? I can't get on to this site.

All those items I wanted to buy but couldn't yet buy. My credit card would have been busy had I known. Big mistake from a financial; view. Just think how many people would have purchased stuff if they had time? How do you chase orders if you have recently bought something?????

I doubt that the number of people who joined just 4 ticket presales was significant compared 2 all those who joined because they truly love Prince. Besides, there have been almost no ticket presales since the Musicology Tour (i.e., still no 3121 Tour) and they've tightly limited the number of tickets a member can buy. I think the real reason 4 shutting down the club was the forum. Too many people whining about silly stuff, so much so that anyone who wanted 2 have a discussion about Prince found that his/her thread would disappear in all the off-topic threads. I think they should've just killed the forum... we have The Org and Housequake 2 chat 'n gripe 'n cuss.
