This literally has not been on cable in 30 years. I have a cassette tape that I made from a showing on cable back in the day.

It is on DVD. There are two versions, and one is highly superior. In fact, to my knowledge, that version on the better DVD was played on Palladia channel (I forget what it's called now), as was the widescreen versions of his other theatrical releases. I actually made a DVD of it when it aired, not knowing about the subsequent DVD release. I think it's actually BluRay, but I forget off hand. Search Amazon for it. Or the Org for deets.

Who cares, it was on American television more than a couple of times. It's also Region 1 which works in the United States. So - yeah.

Can't wait to see it.

I have 3 copies of this film One is the original VHS Canadian DVD version in widescreen and The recent Blu-ray release I'd say the Canadian DVD version is the best one

I played it for my son, who had seen Prince several times with me but had never seen the Sign 'O The Times movie and he was blown away. As was I... The Canadian version is definitely the best IMO.

Simply untrue. Around 2006/7 it was on Palladia, and someone mentioned Starz. Both of those are cable, and one is premium.

A UK orger was nice enough to send a copy to me here in the States when the DVD was bundled with a newspaper there a while ago.

I don't think I ever thanked him or her properly for the kind gesture. I still have it to this day.

She has zero rights to SOTT. Once again, she thinks she was the ONLY it girl to work with Prince. No, Ms. Glover, you were one in a long line. Doesn't she know Prince owned EVERYTHING, and now the estate has control of it? They don't need her permission for jack diddly. She's reaching, and incorrect, about her contract. Anything she did while employed by Prince is owed by him and can be used by him at any given time. Now the PRN estate has that right.

Now she edited the movie, too?! Next week she's going to claim she wrote Lovesexy or some shit. She should team up with Sheila - who thinks she, too, was Prince's only girl and no one else ever in the history of the whole fucking universe knew Prince.
