right now there are no more tickets available on eventim eek

Cancelled or sold-out? hmmm

When I looked an hour ago there where still plenty of seats available. I doubt it's sold out. What a very annoying organisation altogether, shame on Eventim.

So all we can do now is sit and wait and hope that the concernt won´t be cancelled within the next few hours. I doubt they sold all tickets but may have found another "trick" to fill up the empty seats by giving them away for free (radio promotion, newspaper, etc.).

I´ll better pack my bags tonight... smile

So let's think about it:

10 £ to see Prince in a small venue in London, one of the financial capitals in the world.

300 € to see Prince in a small venue in Berlin, one of the poorest capitals in the world.

What is wrong?

After the Cologne disaster, that surely is best PR.

.

So what your saying is only the rich city bankers go to see Prince in London.

Get real.

Hmmmmm, I just called the Tempodrom and they don't know anything about a cancellation. Maybe your friend was only joking?

Strange behavior on eventim: ticket sale is off, then on again. Cancellation ist not official yet. But very likely. Well let's see and wait a couple of hours.

Had this shit back in the early 90s in Oldenburg. Does anybody remember?

Honestly she could be joking.

Didn't get her on the phone yet.

My over reaction. It's still a rumour.

I just received an email from ticket seller Eventim, informing that the show will be canceled and refunds issued.

Anyone else receive one of these?

According to Rolling Stone Germany there won´t be a concert. It´s been cancelled due to "production difficulties", whatever that means.

I still haven´t bought a ticket because I don´t feel like going there alone, and I have to be back the same night but I guess at least I don´t have to worry about this concert any longer.

Hope he´ll still consider a show in Germany real soon, preferrably in Hamburg.

This whole ticket debacle is a hot mess.

"Production difficulties" mean not enough tickets sold.

Now the question is is he coming to Berlin anyway and does it mean a chance of an impromptou show or does he prefer to watch Nadal.

well said. i feel for all the fans out there who have booked transport and accomodation.

it's terrible.

the promoter made an absolute mess of this.

only an idiot could fail to sell out a 4000 capacity venue for Prince.

too greedy and stupid

great now i get to see if i am able to recoup anything on my transport and accommodations. this is uber lame. Germany was a *bad* market to price tickets this way-- German prices tend to be very fair and reaonable in comparision to prices in France, the UK, and the U.S. Also, Berlin is much harder to get to then, say, Cologne. Who ever came up with this venue and this pricing was smoking something... stoned

This whole ticket debacle is a hot mess.

Hamburg would be great.

He hasn't been here since 2002 ("One Nite Alone - Tour).

There are lots of clubs at the Reeperbahn Disctrict around St. Pauli.

It would be no problem to do a spontaneous show there anytime.
