Does anyone know if there will be a separate queue for people with GC tickets ? I have read about this with regard to the show in Holland but I have never heard of "separate queues" in front of the Sportpaleis in Belgium... | |

Last Prince-concert in Sportpaleis the Golden Circle was indicated once you entered. No seperate queue.

I am confused.. on my Antwerp ticket it says "Standing Pit" and "Zone Groen" not Golden Circle. It was only called Golder Circle in Amsterdam. | |

"Golden Circle" was never mentioned anywhere when tickets for the concert in Antwerp became available, but if you paid €128 for your ticket (the price is mentioned on the e-ticket) you should be entitled to stand in a specifically designated area in front of the stage | |

Amazing show.....the vibe was great....most of the setlist was the same as in amsterdam, but a different order. Songs he played here: i would die 4 u, forever in my life, during sampler set a snippet of nasty girl. He started Poplife but after the first phrase he said: no i dont wanna play that and then i think he started Poplife.... But excuse me if I,m wrong. He kept coming on stage for an encore. Probably people here on the .org will continue to say they dont wanna hear the hits, but who cares when you experience an evening with such energy.... At least this girl was so lucky to be there.....

Stunning show. Certainly one of the best I've seen so far. Only a bit too loud, and sound mix wasn't all that great IMHO. Indeed the set list was superb. I never thought he would play Endorphin M. And a nice surprise was Funk N Roll, as well as Sometimes it snowed in April - played with a full band... What's my name, When doves cry... He played a lot of bass, and loads of guitar. He danced around like a 35yo Prince. 3rd Eye Girl was just a background band, nothing more. It was all about Prince. The house was packed. The crowd was crazy. Prince himself was in a superb mood, and kept on amusing himself and us. The encores were many, and he treated us true fans with goodies. The new version of Something In The Water Does Not Compute is absolute awesome. The new live version of Kiss was great too. At the end of the show they left the stage... But came back only to bow and thank the crowd. Something rare I think. Also the balloon thing at the end was weird but nice. I'm too tired now, but my memories are great. Boy what a night. Oh one more thing : right before the show started, they played some new remixed versions of songs like QUEEN by Janelle M, funk N Roll, Superconductor, and a few others if I'm not mistaken... In fact: contrary to Amsterdam the balloons were not the end of the show. It seemed like it but he came back 2 times after that (if i remember correctly....) Played whats my name at the end. Funky detail: for the last encore he had his golden high heels on. Loved that! | |

Such a difference from the Amsterdam show. Prince was just having fun tonight. None of those concentrated faces, just smiles all around. Quite a different vibe from the crowd as well, much nice atmosphere all together.
One strange thing though: my friend swears he saw a teleprompter at the keyboard on the right with the lyrics on it. Has anyone else seen this? | |

How come Prince interacts so well with a Belgian audience? Not that gung ho from the beginning, but once the connection is there, it keeps building and building. He was relaxed yet poised and came to conquer. The mood went from dark to exhilarating, to loud and possessed, loved the grinding pulsating beats, he was casual yet blistering with the guitar, he played "How come u don't call me anymore" behind the piano, the show was very rock oriented but I didn't mind. The crowd grew louder and louder, the noise was electric, the interaction drove him and inspired him, and that was touching. He was energetic like a 28 year old and asked us "do you love me?"... roar... Yeah yeah YEAH (Alphabet Street); Forever in My Life (ligths); Exploding Endorphin Machine (he mowed us down with his guitar); Sometimes it Snows in an intriguing new arrangement; Nothing Compares to U (soaring voice throughout the complete arena)... oh well... Lovely evening. Saw 70 year olds wearing purple shirts, school girls who were not yet born when he wrote a lot of those songs, thank you to the man who danced from beginning to end - like a mad man - to the left in front of me, on the balcony, where some still managed to sit down during the show. Drove home. Great stuff. | |

Yep, left hand side of the keyboard there is a screen with the lyrics.. Saw this in Amsterdam. There is a camera filming from the back when he's at the keyboards, so on the big screens it was easy to spot the screen with the lyrics. Aka Mister T at moquake.com | |

great concert indeed. me too was a bit afraid of another greatest hits show (looking at the setlistst of the previous concerts), but to be honest I was happy he did the hits because he did them great. with a lot of respect for the classics: full and very good versions. I was happy as a child when he did a full version of housequake, even with the "shut up already" part. also liked the "alright" chant during forever in my life and the "it's gonna be a beautiful night" chant. almost felt like I was on a SOTT concert from 1987. you have to forgive me for this childish enthousiasm but I only followed prince since 1998, so I kinda missed the famous 80's concert. only know them from the dvd's. so I was happy he made me feel like he was back in the 80's again.
the best part of the show was the mix of songs. besides the hits he did what I hoped he would do and give good versions of The love we make, musicology, guitar, a part of the ride and a part of endorphinmachine.
and the icing on the cake were the new songs funknroll, screwdriver, fixurlifeup.
so this makes this the best concert I ever seen (this was my 6th time starting from the New Power Soul era).
the crowd was as always amazing. he really loves the Antwerp crowd. | |

There are hardly any major artists who don't use a teleprompter, so I wouldn't be surprised.
