Really hoping Prince will add an O2 London gig between 17th of May and 20th of May...I have days off then. That gap between Birmingham/Manchester and Leeds/Glasgow allows me to dream!

Does anybody know where the cheap tickets are? Are they standing or seated?

For Birmingham there are no cheap seats - standing and seats all £72.20 according to ticketmaster

Seems that all the pricing has been standardised on see tickets. Cheap seats around 72 quid. Premium seating 135 - ouchy. Now if there was a seating area in front of the stage I may go for that but not if i can get closer for half. Honestly can see difficulties selling out at this price.

But im happy that theyre coming back biggrin

yep, just called them & they apologised & said this was normal..FFS a website that can't cope with high volumes!!. capacity is 13k at Leeds & the layout seems so much better than MCR.

The layout at Leeds Arena is fantastic. Every seat is a good seat! And if you get standing, you're always gonna be pretty close to the stage, no matter where you stand. Sound is meant to be great too.

Seems strange that standing tickets are about half the price of the best seated tickets, considering you will always be closer with a standing ticket. Would people really pay double just for the chance to sit down? haha

So nervous, feel sick waiting for 12pm. Was walking round the supermarket this morning and they played When doves cry, could hardly contain myself in the queue! Hoping to take my mum & dad as they have put up with me for over 30 years loving Prince and now I want to show them the real thing. My dad has taught me so much about music and it's my dream for him to see Prince Live. He has seen some true legends and now I want him to see another. Last time I went Birmingham my dad took me to see Ray Charles! Come on 12pm! Good luck everyone

Yep - I'm hoping I get a seated ticket because I'm only 5' tall, and standing is useless for me, been at gigs fairly nearly the front and I've seen nothing due to height of stage/ tall fans infront of me!

Really hoping I can get a ticket for Manchester, couldn't do any of the gigs earlier this year..not a fan of arenas but for me it's better than nothing, fingers crossed, good luck one and all! biggrin

Leeds. Standing or sitting :S

There's gunna be four of us. 51year old woman and three 25yr guys.

What's the standing like? Think it be alright for us, or should we go for seating at Leeds?

The Leeds standing area looks realy small compared to something like the M.E.N, so it shouldn't be too bad.

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

Very liberating feeling not being bothered that it's only 2 hrs until the mad scramble and having no intentions of going.

You should try it smile

The Birmingham LG arena site says £77, £98 and £139 inc " renovation fee and fulfilment fee".

Might even be more with some agency booking fees. The costs are getting stupid.

not convinced it will work but if you have a barclaycard and go to the barclaycard unwind site they have an offere of "fee free Friday" where they cover booking fees, etc.

In the coming soon section, they have Prince for LG Arena, Birmingham....might save a few quid.

Ticketmaster site always did list those prices, you just had to click on the "price range" link
Seating plan has been updated to show standing area, so can't imagine where the £135 seats are...maybe side of stage?

Have you all seen this plan that was posted earlier.

http://www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/birmingham-lg-arena-nec-detailed-floor-chart/birmingham-lg-arena-seating-plan.htm

If I have a choice and its not "Best Option" im trying for Blocks 2, 3, 15, 16 or second choice 1 & 17, near to front as possible. Of course.

looks to me the majority of the tickets will be £65! Not necessarily convinced it will sell out but it's not going to get cancelled due to low ticket sales.
