How to get to the venue from Bergen?

Bus? Taxi?

Please advise!

There is a bus going from the center of the town, approx 15-20 min. You can of course also use a taxi.

So can anyone tell us what an Irish family can expect to see in Bergen?....Besides Prince.

We are over for a couple of days as a part of a family Holiday. So can you recommend restaurants, places of interest or even places to hang.

Thanks biggrin

Lots of things. Great food. Great nature. Mountains, sea, you name it. Its beatiful there.

If you're there... You must try fresh seafood! It's as good as it gets. If you're used to not liking seafood, this is the place to get convinced othervice. But it IS a bit expensive. Still, a very good experience.

They've got a really good aquarium. With all kinds of fish, reptiles and penguins. Stuff like that.

Places to hang out is probably most down by the harbour. Thats where all the tourists come. Pubs, bars, discos etc...

Anyway... Lots of cred to Christer.. BUT!

Unless he is sitting on Prince's shoulder, there will NOT be a Prince consert in Oslo. Unless he rushes over there to do a afterparty...

He's playing in Denmark on the 20'th and 22'th. No room for a concert in Oslo.

Well, of course... Could be that there'll be an extra consert if the response in Bergen is over the topp. Who knows.

There is now an under 18 section which might have seats as well as the wheel chair section which might just have seats on stand-by for such occasions!

How quick is the Norwegian ticket-toko to send tickets abroad?

(didn't receive anything so far)

Also, when I email them I get an out-of-office reply before it is 17:00!

So what is happening?

Anyone who knows where's the most likely place for an afterparty in Bergen would be?

By the way: I have one extra GC-ticket. Anyone who needs it?

Hei,

Mvh
Atomic Soul

So I need to buy some card?

Where and how much?

Check here: http://www.cashless.no/

The card cost 30 NOK and can then be filled with the desired amount that you plan on spending. You buy and fill up the card on special stations on the concert area, and then use it at the bar instead of cash.. Safer and quicker, less time waiting in line for the beer. No need for me, because I'm going to be there for the music, not the alcohol.. smile

Thanks, that was my idea! biggrin

But what about the bus? Can I get tickets near or at the railway station? Any details?

I don't know about other options to buy ticket for the bus, so I'll buy in advance. The ticket cost 50 NOK + handling..

The only option is to pick up the ticket at Posten (the Norwegian postoffice), Narvesen (newsstand/Kiosk chain) or 7-Eleven.. I'm pretty sure the tickets can be bought directly at these places also.

Any idea how many tickets are sold for this concert now? Should be close to sold out soon, I guess?

And what are the chances for an aftershow? I have a 6-7 hours drive including 3 car ferries to get back to work Tuesday morning... sad

They've sold about 8000 of the 10000 tickets. http://www.bt.no/bergenpu...75549.html
