I'd say the Nice show was really NICE...He created a really grooving atmosphere in the arena...everybody dancing and singing with him...

It was a pity to loose Geneve concert, and it's a pity that he left from Europe...

I have to say even though Prince has been in Europe this forum seems to have been as dead compared to previous tours..has everyone lost interest?

No, but a lot of people don`t post here anymore....there are other sites where people aren`t that negativ....i like the org. but some people here are only complaining....

No, but a lot of people don`t post here anymore....there are other sites where people aren`t that negativ....i like the org. but some people here are only complaining....

I don't think so. People will complain no matter where they are since after all they are the same people we're talking about. The org. has been around for a long time and always the first one to post the latest news. My opinion is people are back to their routines, catching up on work and family or indeed this last tour hasn't been that big of a success.

I have been to 4 concerts of this tour ( Berlin, arras, werchter, vienna). I haven`t seen so much

enthusiasm and euphoria....people were screaming like crazy;)

And the venues were packed....The press reviews very phenomenal in germany....( best musician, greatest performer etc)....didn`t read one bad review....so the tour is a big success....^^

just from watching the clips of the shows on the web I can see what you are saying. I would say its the best tour vibe I have seen since the 80's.

yes, probably....i saw many of his tours since 1990....but this tour has quite a lot of energy !

Hey! you were there too? He did talk to the audience during one of the encores, he was becoming emotional but was interrupted by someone who shouted "we love you" he then went on to to say he loved us too and continued with a song, I don't remember which one... anyway I had fun during the concert. Even if Prince looked tired (I was close) he enjoyed himself and smiled a lot!

My guess on why there isn't such a big posting hype around this tour must be cause we all were a bit surprised by the sudden dates, so we only had like a month or 2 to get fired up, then the venues and countries were kind of unusual to, it was a hit&run kinda thing and then there were all the speculations and fears up untill a week before the gigs if it would really happen or not. Eventhough I enjoyed a great Werchter gig, the whole ticket sale mix-up, slow sales and strange overall feeling made it a Tour Bizarre which led the orgers stunned...I GUESS?? Besides that Prince has a setlist that is not very surprising (overall very similar to the 2004 Musicology tour and the O2 shows), so without saying that the shows were predictable, the setlists don't give us the chance to start a post which is interesting enough to share. So please don't interpretate this post as a complaint just another light on the case. LOVE IT that Prince came to Europe this summer!
