i know what you mean i walked in to the O2 arena to see another band and for some reason i was surprised not to see the symbol stage there in the middle even after almost 4 months since the last show i guess i just got so use to it neutral

that was an amazing summer biggrin

August 3rd - took my wife to her second ever Prince gig. After the Hammersmith ONA show she had high expectations especially as it was the 2nd night. Weleft disapointed by a very short set....although in hindsight the selections were rare.

Sept 21st.....oh what a day. Set up the SatNav first thing and drove to Greenwich to park at the O2. Went shopping, came back go changed and headed for the Dome. Picked up my glow stick an witnessed the BEST EVER Prince show I have been to yet. Only spoiled ever so slightly by the extrememly irritating man next to me who decided he was my bestfriend for the evening and talked to me all the way through asking Over and over if he would play When Doves Cry,,,the best show was over but the Muddyfunster poop was about to hit the fan as I had tickets to the aftershow.

WOOOOOWWWWW!!!!! Amazing fun until 4:30 am, Winehouse, Knight,Prince.

Drove home straight after with no sleep in more that 36 hours....probbaly stupid move but didnt ever want to sleep as that would have drawn a lin eunder the night.

Now have to carefully think what was a better day....my son being born or 21st Sept 2007.

Fast approaching a year since that amazing day, it will never come again and I doubt I wil ever experience that again

I took my Girlfriend to two nights ,the 7th august and the 9th sept. She has never been to a Prince gig before.I had already bought aftershow tickets for the 9th but ended up buying tickets for the 7th aftershow when we arrived at the o2.What a feeling coming away from the ticket stand !!!excited but also nervus knowing he might not turn up !!It turned out he turned up at both aftershows both very different shows ,the 9th was the longest set of all the aftershows and just completely blew us away,The 7th we met Mr Hayze and Prince played drums, also played Steve Wonders superstition .Cant make it to the Dublin date (gutted) Im sure you guys that are going will keep us informed .

read many reports of men taking their girlfriends. Funny that Prince has so many male fans. More than female?

11th august.. saturday night and the only night I could go... he opens with purple rain...I have honestly never felt so good so quickly.
the whole show was magic. I loved the "D.J"snippets/samples near to the end and have never seen a musician tease his audience like that...cheeky booing just made him do it more.
VIP experience...for me it was the only way of getting that close to the stage and was worth every penny. wink
