Jedimaster's Comic Book Geek Movie Update: Luke Cage!! Luke Cage Making Progress at Sony Source: Comics Continuum Wednesday, January 14, 2004
Comics Continuum talked to Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige who said that the live-action Luke Cage movie is making progress at Sony and might be a 2005 release. "Ben Ramsey turned in one of the best drafts that I have ever read," Feige said. "It's going to have a totally unique flavor from all of our films. It's totally contemporary Cage and a helluva lot of fun." Feige said Cage's signature "Sweet Christmas" is part of the film, but it isn't a retro-movie. A director or star have not been announced yet by the studio. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. There's an Iron Fist movie in the works as well, with Ray Park in the title role! They're both cool! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Who was the guy who wrote the PowerMan and Ironfist series in the late 80s or so? They were good then.
Jim Owsley or something? Man, those were funny.

He'd better have that gay yellow shirt in the movie, and for the love of all that's holy, he'd BETTER have the chain-link belt and the man-tiara!!!

Doubtful, since he hasn't dressed like that in a while! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

eh...
unfortunately, they're making seperate Luke Cage and Iron Fists movies. these two were BARELY interesting enough to sustain a series/plot together. i don't have high hopes for either of them on their own. "oPS i HITTED THE CAPDLOCK"
