The Org Virtual Telethon in aid of 'Orgers In Need'

It may come as a surprise to a lot of you, but not all Orgers are as well off as others. There are a large number of Orgers who live their Org lives without a lot of the privileges that we are so used to.

Examples;

- Orgers who lurk, but never post. Sometimes they're just too afraid and sometimes, they're just unable to think of anything to say.

- Homeless Orgers who have left the Org and now find themselves wandering around the internet without a home to go to.

- Aggressive Orgers who aren't able to accept that other people have a different opinion to themselves and are only able to express this by attacking and mocking those with different beliefs or opinions.

-Bewildered Orgers who only post on the General Discussion Forum with supposedly amusing threads/posts and seem to rarely discuss Prince whilst here.

All these Orgers, and others, need your help.

On Wednesday 26th November, for the whole day, the Org will host this wonderful virtual charity event, hopefully raising lots of virtual money for these virtual Orgers.

Orgers are encouraged to think of exciting events to raise virtual money on the day. Maybe you'd like to organise a sponsored thread-jacking, perhaps sitting in a bath of baked beans whilst posting would be your ideal way of raising virtual cash. In the evening, maybe an Orger could organise another virtual Club, where all the entrance fees would be donated to this worthy virtual cause. Whatever events you can think of, let's try to make this day a lot of fun, whilst raising lots of virtual money for these Orgers In Need. Throughout the day, there'll be a thread where you can make your virtual donations (any currency) and we'll be giving running totals of all the virtual cash raised so far. Let's see just how much we can raise by the end of the day for these lost Orgers who desperately need your help.

And I'd like to introduce the official mascot of the Org Virtual Telethon, Bumphy The Org Bear

If you have any questions about this exciting event, please feel free to Orgnote me or post here. Please note that this event hasn't got the approval of Ben or any of the other mods and will probably be nipped in the bud before it's even started. Also, before the event, it would be great if people could advertise it in their sigs and promote it at every available opportunity (Don't forget to use Bumphy in all your promotion).

Force your family and friends to sit around the computer and join in.
