what is with people bringing children into this world and then wanting to be rid of them because of their own failures at parenthood.
but then what is she to do? she can't trust them not to break the law. she looks desperate and defeated. i feel for her. i wonder what point you have to get to to tie your children up in chains.

I've always felt that whole "I'm 50 you're 25" relationship deal is such a bad mess. Clearly there are issues there for both parties. What is this thing old men have with young girls? Do they feel that inadequate with someone at least around their own age?

Sad case for all involved. All parties must be held accountable. The children, the mother, and the father. Still, I don't care how bad your parents are, at 13 & 16 you should have enough common sense to know when you make bad choices you suffer the consequences. Either at the hands of your parents or in the hands of the police. The problem is the authorities have tied our hands when it comes to discipling our children. Bad choice for some good for others. Being a parent now is harder than ever.

definitely. everything now is seen as child abuse. someone is always ready to call DYFUS on you. i see my siblings and my friends with their kids and i wonder how they do it. but these aren't kids. at 13 and 16, these 2 know exavtly what's going on and just don't give a *uck.

i don't see what this whole case as to to with the police though...
its not like the kids were stuck in a dungeon, deprived of food or light, wipped and tortured... sure chaining your children to the bed is a strange punishment but how is getting the mother aressted going to change anything... i'm sorry but sometimes americains seem so wierd to me...

That 2 me is just sick. the fact that she said "If they come home I'll chain them up" is even bigger reason to throw her ass in prison. **************************************************
