Eclipse 2024 for Mexico and the U.S.

Anyone near or in the path of totality?? I live in New York. Buffalo is the path of totality and my town is only 6 hours from there, so we should see very significant darkening. The last one in 2017 didn't give us much of anything.

I have family and friends who have traveled just a short way to get in the path of it. (They live in OK and the SE corner is in the path.)

What's a six hour drive to live in midday darkness for four minutes?

No no, not driving. I'll definitely be seeing major darkness. 300 miles isn't that far in the scope of an eclipse. I also have no desire to go to Buffalo. ha

in detroit today and even at 98.2% it was awesome!

Great you 2 got to see it. Too far for me but I saw it take a bite out the sun. Wish I thought to lay my clothes out in the driveway earlier.
