I really considered one, even the bigger version (forgot the name now), but they cost an arm and a leg where i live. Plus can't let it get out alone or it gets stolen

i helped a lady move a few years ago, she was a realtor when the economy tanked, very cleverly she got into the bengal cat sales business. it got her kicked out of the apt she was in which was why she needed my help to move. anyway, i think the cats were sold for over a grand but I didn't see why, you couldn't pick them up, they wouldn't have it, they are just wild enough where they won't be picked up, beautiful cats but I'll stick with my heinz 57 cats.

It depends. My Bengal cat was a stray, he starting hanging around where I lived. He was so beautiful I just had to go up and pet him. Surprising he let me pet him. Over a few days he kept hanging around me everytime he saw me outside. After that I took him in.

they were ok with being petted, most of them, none of them liked being in my arms, i love mauling my cats and they wouldn't have any of it, they aren't the same as domesticated cats, a tad different. most of my cats learned to sleep in my arms or on my chest, i don't think those things ever would. glad you took it in, i see strays all the time and i can't help all of them. I fed one for 12-13 years until it finally dissapeared last winter. also, on another move, the customer just up and left his cat when he moved to a new town. I was going to take it to the humane society here to be adopted but as fate would have it, my brothers cat died so i just went and got it and it's a great, cuddly cat, noisy and always wanting attention, just my style.

I guess I was lucky, my cat love to be held and would jump in bed and sleep with me. He also sounded like he could say no

Corsica's 'cat-fox': On the trail of what may be a new species
In the forest undergrowth of northern Corsica, two wildlife rangers open a cage to reveal a striped, tawny-coated animal, one of 16 felines known as "cat-foxes" in the area and thought to be a new species. "We believe that it's a wild natural species which was known but not scientifically identified because it's an extremely inconspicuous animal with nocturnal habits," says Pierre Benedetti, chief environmental technician of the National Hunting and Wildlife Office (ONCFS).
