This game will come down to a few guys that may not get top billing:

Aaron Donald -- this guy has been a wonder since he was at Pitt and he has become one of the best football players I have ever seen. 20 sacks from the interior this season -- 10 used to be considered All-Pro level from a DT/NT. Like the Hall of Fame West Coast Offense QBs that preceded him, Brady can be limited with effective interior rushing threats. Donald is perhaps the best interior rushing threat in this history of the game, and only Reggie White was better.

Ndamukong Suh -- Pairing Donald with this guy is almost illegal. This guy's likely going to Canton too. And he's been balling out in the playoffs.

Shaq Mason -- This guy won't get a break at guard for the Pats. He'll draw Donald and Suh all night. But he's one of the best guards in the game and anchoring an OL that's been playing well. If he can limit the dynamic duo inside, the Pats can win this comfortably.

James White -- THE GUY you need to stop on offense. He's a dual threat, and keeps the clock and chaims moving for NE, who squeezed KC with time of possession.

BOTTOM LINE: All that being said, given the lack of experience of the Rams, and the Belichick-Brady Pats heading into Super Bowl No. 9, I can't bet against the Pats.

31-23 New England.

Aaron Donald's regular season numbers will mean nothing unless he gets it done at 'winnin time'. Walt Frazier always says the playoffs are where you make your fame. No matter what Belichick throws at him, Donald has to do what Justin Tuck did in SB XLII - wreck the game.

Please, please, PLEASE don't let me down, Patriots.

Although if they don't win, it's not the end of the world. At least I can say I stayed up all night (the game is on LATE over here) eating the biggest pizza I've ever seen. Seriously, it's fucking massive.

Yeah that 1/2 time sucked. Prince's was the very BEST.

Hard to beat the Pat's when they bring their own refs with them.

The rappers were a complete waste of time, but they always are. No-talent wanna-be musicians who add absolutely nothing to a live performance - especially Travis Scott. I'm ashamed he's named his tour after an amusement park from my hometown.

I know - "Old Man Can't Stand Them Rappers" is not much of a headline, is it?

Maroon 5 was, like Huey said, meh. They aren't a bad band; they've got some catchy tunes. I've sen them live twice and they were miles better than tonight.

But the Big Story is:

THE NFL MADE THE MUSICIANS HIDE THEIR INSTRUMENTS' LOGOS?!?!

What the F***?!?

At first I thought, "Hey, maybe that's some Stratocaster knock-off that Adam Levine bought at Sears when he was 7" but if you looked hard, you'd have noticed that NO guitar had a logo on its headstock.

That is LAME.

The NFL deserved to have everyone on that stage take a knee, but none of them had the guts.

Trying to be less cynical this year so here it goes; SICK of...I mean Tired of seeing the Patriots and their fans reliving the moment over and over again. Cant believe I wasted almost an hour over the game.

Maroon5 should always stick to studio sound. Terrible performance. Reminded me of the time when Adam Levine absolutely butchered Purple Rain at his own show. Also the time when P rocked the stadium. Mediocre, compared to his prime but way superior to any of these “pop star” performance during halftime.

Commercials were hit n miss but overall better than the game and the halftime show for sure. But that Zoe Kravitz...pretty to look at maybe but has zero charisma. Dont get the hype around her at all.

What a game!!!

I missed the halftime show though. Well, I didn't really "miss" it, more like I deliberately turned it off until it was over.

The fun watching football part of the season definitely peaked early this year. The end was basically rope-a-dope.
