Any gamers here? Far Cry 5 compared to Far Cry 4 (SPOILERS)

Wow, what a crazy fun game! Despite some BIG BUGS! (Oh you died in a plane crash? no worries we will spawn you back in the plane....300 feet off the ground...but the engine is off...I hope you like gravity)

I just finished the 3 mini-boss... the one up North! WOW, that was a good boss fight... Now, what will happen? Got to go see!

I just finished it 2 days ago. Great game. One day I spent about 4 hours just fishing and hunting. I completely lost track of time.

dang i got the BAD ending! and no way to go back I guess! Oh well I rented it so I am good. I think I will get FC 4.

FC 4 is great! biggrin What ending did you get? The one where you end up with Joseph? lol Honestly, when I saw that, after all I did for hope county, I wanted to punch my wall. lol lol And after playing it a second time, the game isn't so bad as I was thinking after the first run tho. But I still wouldn't place it above FC 4, but I think that's just personal taste.

I got 4... it is a bit of an adjustment... after this i want to get Primal... but I have just "cleared the fog" on 4... i am going to be playing the hell out of this...

Did you try to wuss out of the fight with Joseph? Lol. That's the only way you could have gotten the "bad" ending.

Generally with these kind of stories where you have a cult leader as the main villain they are exposed as con men who are only in it for the money. But Joseph actually believes what he's preaching, which is probably more that can be said about the prick in the Vatican. Now, obviously Joseph is crazy and the fact that he does actually believe that he's doing God's work makes him even more dangerous but it's nice to see the writers give a bit more depth to the villain this time.

Primal is really beautiful tho. the first scene man, the animals and all that stuff. It really looks great.

definitely. they should've done the same with Pagan and Vaas

I haven't played the Far Cry 3 yet but I got it free with the special edition of Far Cry 5 so I'm looking forward to that. I kind of liked Pagan Min though. He had a snazzy suit. biggrin

SPOILERS!!!!!

Choosing to resist means that you have to fight Joseph. Which doesn't end up going so well but is still considered to be the real ending. If you choose to walk away, then Joseph allows you to leave with the sheriff and other officers and he says he forgives you. As you're driving away the Sheriff turns on the radio and "Only You" comes on. The edges of the screen turn red to show your character is still affected by it, the sheriff turns to you and asks what's wrong before it just cuts to black. Given how vague that ending is I'm assuming that's considered to be the "bad" ending.

Although there is a third possible ending. At the very beginning of the game when the sheriff asks you to arrest Joseph, you can actually choose not to by leaving the controller idle for 10 minutes.

that is the GOOD ending? That is some Bull Bliss! haha! I thought maybe I got that because I left a ton of stuff undone... and I used easy...

But I am no in 4. Like I said it is an adjustment... and damn some of these animals are cray cray! It was funny to see a turkey killing people in 5 but some of the animals in 4 are way worst...

I also do not like how it fusses if you walk too far from a mission... seems to be a little too picky!

and I forgot to plug in my controller last light so i have to let it charge up!

The animals in Far Cry 4 can kill the fun very quick. Another stupid thing is, that whenever I buy ammunition and head off to a mission, I get called back to save the outpost. Wasting ammu and then I don't have enough money to buy some more. And this happens every. single. time.

Here's a tip for Far Cry 4. If you've signed up to Uplay or Ubisoft Club, whatever it's called now, you can use the Robocop gun. Just access the Ubisoft Club from the menu and go to the rewards section. The robocop gun is in there. Best gun in the game. I used that gun for 99% of my time in the game. The description of it says something like "last seen cleaning up the streets of Old Detroit". I thought it was a nice touch.

I just ignored that after a while because it was getting too frequent. You don't actually lose the outpost so it's kind of pointless to go back. Just ignore it and go where you were originally going.

A message comes up saying you lost the outpost or something along those lines but you don't actually lose it. Seems like a bit of a waste of time. Not that I would have minded losing it. Clearing the outposts is my favourite part. Especially if you have a silenced sniper rifle. Best weapon in the game with the exception of the Robocop gun.

yeah, I was not sure....but I mostly ignored them--and nothing seemed to happen. I did one and I was like 500m away and it got attacked again...

some of my fav moments: The 2nd compound I tried to free a random elephant did it for me! After that, I did a few using bait.

I also happened on crashed hijack trucks...easy score.

So far my favorite side missions are the assassinations.

But I have lost karma 'accidentally' killing the wrong people...
