It looks promising! I'm just not sold on Alden Ehrenreich and that Game Of Thrones girl.

It looks to be a busy month and even year for Disney with Avengers 4, Solo and Deadpool 2 (he's now also on Disney right?) Looks to be a big year for Disney with the awesome Black Panther and Avengers 4 probably beating that in box office, Solo probably doing as good as Rogue One and Deadpool 2 and Ant-Man and the Wasp as a bonus.

yeah, it could be a big summer! I may actually go to the movies this weekend.

As to Avengers 4 beating Black Panther? I would not bet on that. I think this year's champ is set! If anything they should consider adding 20 mins and releasing an extended cut in Sept (and fixing the less than stellar effects in the meantime). I think it way outperformed expectations like doubled.

I do not know how Deadpool will work. I am not even sure if it is a done deal. (I do not like the deal by the way)

If all the people who saw Black Panther go to Avengers 4 just to get a glimpse of him and Wakanda and all the other fans who skipped on Black Panther, I think it's a safe bet Avengers 4 will surpass Black Panther. Black Panther had some shoddy SFX so I hope they do get to clean that up, but I doubt they'll do an extended cut. Maybe in acouple of months after the initial Bluray release just to double dip.

I'm wary about Solo. Outside of Obi-Wan and Vader, I'm not that excited for standalone movies with Skywalker Saga characters/timelines.

I have not heard if James Earl Jones is gonna do voice over work for Solo....Maybe it's a well kept secret like Rogue was...

The staying power of Black Panther has to have boosted Avengers 4 pre-sales. It's definitely one of the reasons Infinity War was moved up.

i really liked last jedi too. i've only seen it once, and would certainly want to see it at least one more time before i drop anchor on a firm position, but right now i have it rated 2nd best among the star wars films behind empire. i agree there's plenty to criticize in it, but i still would say it's a much better film than all the other ones expect empire and tfa. i think it's clearly a much more original & daring story than tfa, and i think it's a better looking movie overall as well (from what i recall), but in most other ways those two films are fairly equal.
