The super blue blood moon arrives Wednesday morning.

(a bit of trivia)
Here's what to expect.

During the early hours of Jan. 31, there will be a full moon, a total lunar eclipse, a blue moon and a supermoon – all at the same time. None of these things is really all that unusual by itself. What is rare is that they're happening all together on one day.
What makes the moon look full?
Like the Earth, half the moon is illuminated by the sun at any one time. The moon orbits around the Earth and as a result we see different amounts of the lit-up side.

A full moon is when we see its entire lit-up side. This occurs every 29.5 days, when the moon is directly opposite the sun relative to the Earth. Jan. 31 will be our next full moon in the lunar cycle.

So tomorrow at work I can do a segue while listening to non-work conversation with a (uninvited) co-worker, who luuuuuvs to gossip.
i"'ll just respond to her diatribe by giving an "i don"t know expressionπŸ‘€,
along with a shoulder lift.
then i'll ask her " did you hear about the "super blood red moon.

I'm a bit disappointed, it won't be visible from my location at 4am and I was all set to take full detailed pictures pictures, craters and all. But it'll be below my horizon and I can't go up into the mountains this time around. Oh well. Super, Blood, and "Blue" once in a lifetime event. Heck red white and blue. Last year the solar eclipse was unique event for No. Americans, was art most a day's drive away for the entire US.
