Today's game and starting pitchers:

WORLD SERIES:

LOS ANGELES DODGERS VS. HOUSTON ASTROS

Los Angeles (Alex Wood, 16-3, 2.72 ERA) at Houston (Charlie Morton, 14-7, 3.62 ERA), 8:00 pm ET, FOX

The Astros have so much confidence now that I don't think the Dodgers win another game not started by Clayton Kershaw.

Game 3 was so close to being a 12 - 3 wipeout, but we'll take it! The Dodgers' bullpen is shellshocked and on the verge of collapse. Maeda is the only one with any stuff at all, and I doubt he's available tonight. Roberts better hope he gets a chance to put in Jansen; that's the only guy on rest.

Yuli Gurriel did something stupid last night. But it doesn't seem he was trying to be hateful, it was just stupid. He apologized profusely and Yu Darvish graciously accepted the apology. Still going to cost Yuli 5 games next year.

But that's next year. Tonight we have Charlie Morton vs. some guy I can't think of and have never heard of. So of course I just jinxed us and whoever the Dodgers' starter is will throw a complete game shutout, LOL.

In all seriousness, Morton was on FIRE in game 7 against the Yanks. If he brings that stuff tonight, I like our chances. And we DO have a very rested bullpen, just in case.

All this leads possibly to a very exciting Game 5, to which I was fortunate enough to score tickets. I'll probably let my son and wife go, but there's still a lot to do before then. Go Astros!

NOTE: Alex Wood is the guy I never heard of. 16-3 with a 2.72 ERA? WTF is this guy doing as the Dodgers' fourth starter?!? Sounds like he's got filthy stuff.

Is it just me or should the guy that mocked Darvish be suspended for the NEXT 5 games. He did it in the WS he should not play in the remaining WS games,

I think you are a little biased. But Really the punishment should be he can not play the rest of the series... the first few games of next season mean nothing in baseball. Make it count! *and I really want the Astros to win this

So proud of my Dodgers for getting up off of the mat last night! I like our chances going back to LA, but this series is a friggin nail biter. Two best teams in MLB FOR SURE! Will it go 7games and give Yu Darvish a chance at redemption at Chavez Ravine? We shall see, but first, Kershaw vs. Keuchel again. HUGE game tonight, Dodgers have broken the seal at Minute Maid, handing the Astros their first home loss of the postseason. Shall we do it again, boys? Let's go Dodgers!!!!!!!!!!!

***And I dont care if it's opening day, a spring training split squad game, or game 3 of the World Series....Yuli Gurriel should be suspended IMMEDATELY. Zero tolerance for nonsense like that, I dont care how nicely Darvish responded to it, dont care if Gurriel "didnt know" he was being racist or inappropriate or whatever. But that's okay....I have a funny feeling this guy wil be quiet at the plate from here on out....Baseball Gods dont like ugly. disbelief Last night, Mr Gurriel...0-3 with a K and grounded into a double play.

I doubt we will see him in this series again. Hinch already gave him a hint in game three, when he stayed with Peacock, who was straight DEALING. Hinch gave Gils another shot last night, but I think thats it for Mr Giles until 2018.

Agreed. My son and I were screaming for Hinch to stay with Devenski but Hinch apparently could not hear us through our TV.

My wife and son are going to Game 5 tonight. Hope they see an Astros victory!

MLB's excuse was it didn't want to punish the other Astros for Gurriel's actions. You'd think after the guy played a year in Japan, he'd be more aware about doing dumb stuff like that.

the unspoken irony in the whole incident is that, if you look closely, Gurriel's eyes look more Asian than Darvish's eyes...without even using his fingers to "slant" them...

No disrespect to Andre Eithier but man! His arm is not quite major-league level, and that's putting it diplomatically.

And let me say this - the MLB Network's analysis shows are INCREDIBLE. They've got former players with smarts, and they break down what really happens on all the big plays.

They've got Jose Altuve sitting in with them right now (filmed last night after the game, so this was probably around 2 AM local time!). It is so fantastic. If you get a chance to watch the rebroadcast of "MLB Tonight" today, you will really enjoy it!

Today's game and starting pitchers:

WORLD SERIES:

LOS ANGELES DODGERS VS. HOUSTON ASTROS

I can see it now - Hill pitches great for 2 or 3 innings and then the Astros get to him. But mindful of the dreadful mistake he made in Game 3, Dave Roberts leaves Hill in. And Hill gives up 4 runs before you can blink an eye.

Roberts knows we have their bullpen figured out - even Jansen. Of course, ours has more than its share of gas cans, too. However, I wouldn't be too surprised to see Ken Giles come in tonight, but only in mid-relief. He's got a live arm and if Verlander gets in a jam, Giles might be the guy to get out of it. But no way in Hades will we see Giles any later than the 7th inning, if at all.

I predict the Astros' plate discipline is going to be way better against Hill this time than it was last time. I hope that helps! It'd better because Bellinger is definitely on fire. If Turner lights up, we're going to need all we can get from Verlander.

Go Astros!
