Wow tough game. Steelers red zone defense was awesome. Hats off to Matt Stafford Stafford had a good game. Thank you Tomlin for letting Bryant sit so Ju-Ju Smith could get the winnig TD.

Seahawks-Texans get my vote for game of the year in the NFL thus far.

I bet the Browns, Bears, and 49ers are kicking themselves in the ass for passing

on DeShaun Watson. This guy is a human video game. He's a rookie and makes a

few mistakes but he's fun to watch and has a lot of poise.

He wouldn't win in Chicago or SF either. It's all about getting in the right situation with the right coach.

As much as I enjoy seeing Browns fans suffer Watson would have been a much better
building block than Kizer who is very raw. I beg to differ with San Fran. Kyle Shanahan is their head coach. He did a good job with Matt Ryan. Watson just have that IT factor. With some pieces on the defensive side it wouldn't have taken the 49ers that long to ascend. One of my friends is a 49ers fan and he called taking Watson long before the draft and he is agonizing over them passing on Watson now. lol

As Louis Riddick said earlier this week, it shows a complete lack of awareness of where he is in his career.

WRs that act out want to be NBA players, most of them aren't elite, and most aren't worth the headaches they cause. Elite WRs can help you win games, but you don't really need them to win a title.

Bryant, who isn't close to being elite, is going to learn the hard way.

I like what Deion Sanders said about Bryant. Bryant has to realize he's just the accessory. He's the tie. Antonio Brown is the suit. LMAO

Heck, he'd be lucky to be the pocket square at this point. lol

As far as the need for an elite receiver you're right but if you don't you better have one that can move the chains. The Steelers had Hines Ward and Cedrick Wilson as their starting receivers when they won the Super Bowl early 2006. Neither one was considered elite although Hines was close as you can get. The difference was Hines moved the chains and did all the little things like block on running plays and pass plays that wasn't designed to go to him. Hines loved to block. A trait Martavis doesn't possess. Hines used to piss plenty of DB's knocking the hell out of them. lol

The game has changed since 2006, which imo has resulted in less of a need for the WRs to be physical players to either block OR deal with bruising play off the line from DBs and headhunting in the back seven.

But what HASN'T changed since 2006 is the need to have wideouts that can move the sticks. if Bryant would do that, he wouldn't have these issues. There's room for another WR to get fed in that offense.

(Hate to say it as a WAS fan, but DAL will come out on top in a must-win.)

Picking the Redskins because they played tough both games against the Eagles and Chiefs. Cowboys destroyed a 0-6 team, still early for me to say the Cowboys are back.

WSH found new ways to disappoint me. They were horrific in special teams, and their WRs pulled a disappearing act again. Doctson, once again, drops a game changing pass. But I admire the heart Manusky's defense showed most of the game, and understand that WSH was down 4 O-Linemen. Still, a winnable game.

Maybe the MVP of the game was the federal judge in New York who cleared the way for Zeke to play. lol

Watching this year draft was so obvious. Who ever was picking players for the Browns was looking at ESPN's list of who Pittsburgh was projected to pick. Haha Cleveland, how that work out for you? So yeah that's the reason Watson was not drafted by the Browns.

Hoo Dey blew it years ago, when they let Zimmer go to Minnesota, instead of firing Lewis and promoting Zimmer to HeadCcoach...and then had another chance to fire Lewis, and keep Hue Jackson (who had Dalton balling)as HC...but the Bengals ownership continues to self-destruct...

Brown is a creature of habit. He shook up the organization 15 years ago when he hired Lewis . . . and hasn't changed much since. Marvin deserves credit for helping pull the Bengals out of the dumpster and onto a respectable path. But they're regressing.

(I still wonder what things would have been like if Palmer hadn't gotten hurt in the 2005/6 playoff game).

"the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers consummated a stunning trade on Monday. The 0-8 Niners were expected to target their quarterback of the future this offseason, but they've made a move earlier than anybody expected in trading their 2018 second-round pick to the Patriots for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo."
