Let's think of stories!

...OK, since there's the other thread about movies, I thought we could all try and think of our OWN plotlines, y'know, just to get the brain going and all, keep ourselves Stimulated....
So - you guys got any good stories for us? smile ...they don't have to be a Finished Script, naturally, just random crap, basically, off the top of your head,...but GOOD random crap...... Well? smile

Story starring SRK as an interpol agent who busts up a human smuggling ring. Hollywood/Bollywood car plane boat skidoo skateboard bike hang glider intercontinental chase after clues and saving people. Also starring Emily Rose as an undercover homeland security agent who 'accidentally' teams up with SRK and Ryan Reynolds as the super funny bad guy. Toss in DB Cooper? plus a faked-his-own-deth-to-become-a-super-secret-agent-spy Bruce Lee. I'd love to see SRK win Hollywood.

Since it was your idea you must have one you're dying to tell.

ok how about melting glacial water unthaws an ancient microbe which thrives in modern-day planet Earth's ideally warm conditions.

giant microbial mold/moss/fungii growth explosion spreads through all water sources (ocean, rrivers, streams, rain), turning some plants deadly overnight and affecting animals and humans in various ways.

scary monster plot with scary monster people and animals who morph into hyper-evolutionary pathways. microbe turns out to be sentient and establishes a hive mind on Earth?

or maybe is defeated by the clever scientists who use intensified solar rays to kill the microbe?

starring Virginia Madsen, SRK, Kiera Knightly and Simon Pegg as members of the scientific team who discover and track the spread of the microbe.

^ giggle that'll work.

I'd like to see an adaption of Day of the Drones (or something like that). Where the post apocalyptic world becomes a bee like society. It's a book I read way back in Jr High I still kinda remember the story.

Go watch the morning traffic and tell me it ain't.

What makes you think you're above a bee?

I won't share anything as thoughtful. I live in LA county. Any clever thought i have is in danger of being stolen by unclever people with industry jobs. It's why ii stopped telling a bartender i knew clever things. ...she lived in culver city and smoked bong loads so she'd tell all this clever shit and pretty soon Id see these things on tv.

I know i can't PROVE it. And i know thoughts are often common. ..but these were distinctive. Anyways. Great story above. Hollywood wouldn't allow a film like that to be bleak though.

How about a TROMA film (*since i don't mind throwing away absolute crap)

An ice cream truck man goes for a lap dance on his afternoon break, girl kicks her heels high kick wise and breaks a light bulb. She does it again and electrocutes both her self via heel and the guys dick.

In a bit of movie magic, they both switch identities. Man basically begins being the ultimate sleazy les whore (*cause he still likes women) and often feels himself up...saying OHH YEAH

Girl has to come to terms being a screwed up fat man with a dead end job. She gains New perspective on life and decides HIS LIFE isn't for her. .so it becomes an act of vengeance story.

Several Craig's list ads later she attacks him in a hotel and is arrested then put to death by..... (no...not the chair)

Lethal injection.

Cue to montage of stripper body dead guy in heaven gettin it on outside st Peter's gate.

The end.

^ I think that's in line with the kind of stories the OP wanted.

But I must confess I thought of Hot Chick reading that.

Oh yeah!

- I'd forgotten about that. Never saw it. Never thought Rob could hold an entire movie, he's a bit part comedian. ..not that that stopped Adam Sandler fans from watching HIS mostly bullshit

How about a clown college correspondence course that leads to an on site graduate school which really trains assassins?

(In clown wear)

I've never seen that one done. Don't bring up the Chiodo brothers film. That's quite different

TROMA is an independent low budget action/trash /skin flick company that produced mostly direct to video style films. Formed in 1974 by Lloyd Kauffman and some fella Michael Hers.

Notable films TOXIC AVENGER, SURF NAZIS MUST DIE! , KIMONOMAN? (*what was that one called?)
....PHALLUS IN WONDERLAND, POULTRYGEIST etc. (*i haven't kept up with them. ..never got into them. Sometimes the titles are better and more mature than the films)

A more plausible story?

A married man finds out that his wife is actually related to him. (Half sister from some one of his father's military trips) he's already raised his two children 8 and 5 (5 for the cheap laughs of "aww how cute") and he must come to terms with it?

That sounds boring and would have to be made into either a FARCE or a horror story.

I dunno. Much like stand up comedy, this is a small form. Good ideas can be extrapolated by others....and to a creative mind that's horrible. It's why i believe most open Mic comedians won't use their "A MATERIAL" most of the time until they pull a "big gig" or video record their act

how about a movie starring a plagiarist who steals a manuscript from a dying author and tries to pass it off as his own work, only to have the plot of the manuscript start coming true in creepy ways?

That's fantastic. ..almost TALES FROM THE CRYPT - like.

Unless it's a common plot. (I wouldn't know).it'd make a more compelling film than a novel. A more powerful short story than a novel.

Really good one. Haha. Expect it to be stolen now.

I'd put my hands in at writing once. Intended to cover numerous "intellectual property" copyrights but i found out i couldn't tackle writing an actual novel. ....because i cannot seem to do DIALOGUE.

That's a talent.

I've got dozens of absurd and mostly funny ideas but never took off as story writing.

Also. ...a thematic premise isn't always enough to carry an entire story. But yours is pretty fantastic. Has it been done before?

Hmm. ...another bad idea

Rich woman leaves house/estate to possession of her cats (*until death) in some country that'd let that shit fly (*provided there was an annuity to the home caretaker...leads to family attempts to murder the cats. Comedy or horror

2) speaking of murder.

....Hatchet wielding murderer inherits money (think Jason Voorhees) and gets cosmetic surgery.

Finds out that his ordeals and turbulence and pain make for good nookie garnering subjects with women. Plus, now that he shows his face people feel less threatened by him. He ponders over his life through a series of relationships and efforts to help others. ...kind of like "the last temptation of Christ" in reverse...

Maybe he wakes up at the end in a pool of sweat and realizes that Freddy Krueger was behind this whole nightmare. The highs and lows were intended to terrify him.

Freddy Dons Jason's mothers sweater and finally kills Jason FOREVER
THE END.

NO QUESTION MARK.

The end. On an absurdist note of humor with an undesireably OFF-HORROR film

I think that'd be fantastic. It'd both disgust audiences in the middle, intrigue women in the middle, confound critics and be lauded as the single craziest ending to a series character with dignity (*excepting the EXCELLENT work done with LOGAN: a great film that wasn't deserved by any ofv the x men series)

OnlyNDaUSA hijacks a plane. He gets the pilot to fly to Cuba. In Cuba he goes to the statue of Fidel Castro and he moons it. He swims back to America and shacks up with two transgendered women.

Man wakes up to write a story. Loses track of time and realizes he didn't write anything. Man goes back to sleep after slugging down another brew. Man wakes up, realizes he's on the floor amidst a pile of empty bottles; not only that but his fridge is open. He gets up to shut the door and notices pages upon pages of writings on his kitchen counter (it's a studio apartment)he speculates that he got drunk and wrote down the material in his sleep.

Man hears a toilet flush and watches as a crusty old burping elf emerges from the can. Man knows there's no such thing as a free meal and threatens to have elf arrested for breaking and entering. Hungover, stoned elf relent and man pursues exploitation and extortion of elf until elf murders him in his sleep.

The end.

This one's got low budget cult status trash written all over it. I may just end up using it for a comic book filler story

A guy sits down at his computer desk,... writes a topic on a PRINCE.org forum.

It is discarded as race baiting.

He devises a solution to select an avatar that would start the discussion, but finds out it's too late for avatars and they've apparently been discontinued.

Man gets back to work, realizing nobody cares about Sammy Sosa looking like Frankenberry.... Later in the evening he goes to his house and falls asleep.

The end.
